- The Famous beloved Grizzly Bear #399 returns from a long winter in the den and bringing a cub down with her to meet her fans. She is 26 years old and this is her 18th cub and being dubbed #18. She is the oldest know grizzly to have cubs and she had 4 in her previous brood which she raised successfully against many odds. This film was shot primarily on May 16th, 2023 the first day of her return and some the following day in Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming. Wildlife Management works hard to protect her and her family, as well as all the people wanting a glimpse and a picture of her. #grizzlybear #bear #grizzlybears #grandtetonnationalpark

Oops, little cub did something she didnt agree with. 🙂💗3:58 of video.
This is a good video of them. I wonder if she knows how special her and the cub are to everyone?
She is such a majestic mom. Her and the cub look so healthy. 💗
I think she might know and yes, they both looked super healthy
Trying to nurse. She’s not having it.
Thank you for capturing this incredible footage for us. I love bears so much and i think they are more intelligent than most humans.
I think you may be right
Thanks for a great update on #399 and cub. *Could you use a different color on your text. This one is very hard to read. Thanks
Sorry about that! Yeah I'm still learning!
Beautiful video with lovely music, feeling like a sacred sharing with this gorgeous "matriarch momma" and her cub. 💖 Does this cub have a nearly white "collar" of fur or was it the lighting? If so, is this common? Thank you for this special footage; I love when her cub stands upright as if to stretch his/her perspective. ❤
Thanks so much I appreciate it
It looks like the cub has the same collar as Mama 399

Just one? What a sadness.
since she is 27 years old, it is probably a good thing that she only had one.
Me and my wife just seen her and her cub a few days ago at Grand Teton during a bear jam. We asked the ranger if she was 399 and she said " Yes, she's 399" We had time to see them from a distance for a short time then they both left into the thick forrest. We were so fortunate to see 399 with her cub. Before then we seen 1 black bear and after 399 and her cub an hour later we seen another bear jam and seen a mother grizzly with her cub cross the road. A couple of days after my wife read that a bear died by a car. I believe it was in Grand Teton but maybe it was in Yellowstone. I forgot what park she told me. That was sad news..
Glad you got to see her
How sad to think a bear being killed by a car in their own country just heartbreaking
She's 27, not 26 years old, making her the oldest Grizzly in the Yellowstone Ecosystem to have a litter. DON'T DELIST GRIZZLIES!! FIGHT FOR THEM!
Yes, I realized my mistake after I uploaded the video. Thanks.
Does anyone know anything about the three grizzlies a sow and two 2 year old sub adults that were shot in self-defense may 2nd of this year across from the hatchet lodge down by the river??
sorry I dont know anything
Maybe you can Google it?
I would be a said day if you where the person, that got these bears killed, keep your distance. Got it.
I was with a wildlife management team, controlling the distance and keeping her safe
