I bought mine first suppressor on 5-25-24 and I’m still waiting and I just go approved for my gun permit. I thought it would kind of speed things up a bit, but nope I’m on the waiting game now hopefully soon I get it….
Damn son you lucky. I submitted one on the 6th still nothing filed as individual. I think you having your concealed weapons, permit helped with the background check process
I purchased today from a company online they have to do a form 3 just to send to my local shop first..I got a concealed weapons permit a month ago..hope I can get mine in this new window of opportunity quickly
@@6eth_LM you will definitely get it a lot faster then previous years. I checked on mine today, well Friday they got back to me today saying cleared background check and is inline for approval. There has been a tremendous amounts of forms being submitted and very few examiners. I think you biggest obstacle if you are going thru Silencer shop will be certifying your form. It was a freaking pain in the ass to certify mine took almost 3weeks many trips to my ffl.
I got my last two suppressors in 2 days back in Feb. One came back in 4 days in Jan. Now I have one submitted 3/22/24 and still waiting. I don't know what is going on with these crazy wait times. I hope they get back on the fast track again.

9 days from when they sent the form in? Or 9 days in total from when you decided what silencer to buy? Just bought one yesterday still gotta get finger prints I live in Ohio as well

From what I'm hearing, people who are filing a trust are waiting much longer, or people that filed before February 1st are in the "old system" and are waiting much longer as well. Hopefully, the ATF can get all form 4 wait times down below a week. Or even better, I hope suppressors get removed from the National Infringement Act soon
You don’t have to use a silencer shop kiosk. My guy that I go through does it all on a computer. I think he mails the fingerprint cards in after we submitted the paperwork.
The only thing that gets approved that fast is McDonald's man. Im on my 9th NFA item and they all took nine months so I'm sure 99.9 percent of this guys are lying 😂😂😂.

I’m at 270 today eforms silencer shop What I don’t understand is why wouldn’t you catch up the old stuff first before you started approving all these other people in a week or two while others of us have been waiting damn near year but of course the government is a bunch of idiots and of course they do backwards ass shit all the time they’re only doing this to make it look like that the wait time it went down. I have done it 30 times so I think I know how it works . I’m excited, but I just did some two weeks ago and haven’t heard nothing.

I’ll never understand people that don’t have can, sbrs etc because of the wait. Years later and they still want said item but never put in paperwork.

I filed my form 4 last week I did individual. I heard that the trust is alot slower
still takes forever for a trust approval. when you have family members that take them to the range and such

No. You can do it from any gun store that has a scanner and the internet.
I'm still waiting march 5 was the purchase date.
