I fish those rocks a good bit. If Spanish are not around, I’ll catch lady fish then use it as chunk bait and always hook up on bull reds

I live in Panama city. I'm always trying to find good places for me and my 12 yr old son to fish. We tried St. Andrews park but didn't see this spot. Can't wait to try it! Thanks and can't wait to see where else you go!

Been to the Jetties a few times. Great place, definitely have to think ahead on what to bring. Can't take everything when you have to climb those rocks

Oh yeah, catching 10 bluefish is way better than catching no sheepshead!
If you want some sheepshead get some fiddlers and go under the West Bay bridge. I've always had really good luck.

Here at St. Andrews till Friday any tips for the jetties what rig do you use for sheepshead seems like we are constantly getting hung. What Coker do the fishbites are good out there. Thanks great video
Throw a fiddler crab on light leader with a split shot out to the sand beyond the rocks and wait for the bite.

Great to get into a school of blues that size. Do you ever cook them? I bleed them out and make sure to cut out the thick bloodline. I also soak them in buttermilk. They cook up decently if you do it right away.
Have never tried them, but I think I eventually will/
good video friend, I love fishing for bluefish, they are fighters here in Tampa they don't arrive like that in spots 😔I'm thinking about going there where you fish but it's about 6 hours
In destin harbor you can catch bluefish in the mid 30 inches.

@@williamcepero5882 you can catch them at St Andrews Jetty, Destin East Jetty, Destin Harbor. Any of those three hold a bunch of bluefish right now.
If you want numbers of fish I would hit the jetty's, if you want a shot at a giant bluefish then fish the harbor.

What size do the blue fish have to be in order to keep them? and why do you keep throwing them back ?
Minimum size is 12" and you can keep 10. It's sheepshead season, I'm not gonna eat bluefish when I could eat sheepshead, plus on the jetty it's a pain to keep fish because you are climbing on rocks and constantly moving.

No, tennis shoes work pretty good for me. I just try to stay off the wet rocks.

What jig head are you using?
Berkeley Fusion, they are the only ones I use.
