When you bring a vehicle in, make sure to wash it. Vacuum it out at least. Clean it. When you come to look at a new vehicle, you want it looking nice. Why not do the same for your vehicle? It's a really great way to add trade value.
Also, if you can, try to get your maintenance schedule. See the last time it had an oil change, the last time the brakes were done, the last time it had tires. Any knowledge that you have on your vehicle is always helpful to build trade-in value.
Lastly, be honest. Be up front. You wouldn't want to pay full price for a vehicle that you were unsure about its history, and same goes for us. If it's a vehicle that we can use, we're going to get you the most money we can for it. But if you're not upfront and you're not honest, and you know something about it that we're going to find out later, it's going to be a lot more difficult for us to give you full market value.
Make sure that you know, that we're going to do the best to get you what we can for your vehicle but, at the same time, be up front with us. Those are some ways to improve your trade-in value.
