      You should watch the 35 minute ride. I do in the daytime where I cover a lot more off-road terrain.

    Yume is something, They sell these scoots for under 2000 while their the same basic parts that inmotion and dualtron use. I guess in todays world premium is only what your willing to pay for something. I got one of the new yume raptors and hell yeah i would trade it for a kaabo gtr, then i would sell the gtr and get 2 raptors so i could ride with my daughter. :-) And yeah, that Hawk is a hell of a great scoot at any price.

      I agree completely! 2 Raptors are better than 1 GTR! :)

    Nice video. I stumbled upon this brand and became very interested. I am in the market for a dual motor scooter and was considering buying the kukirin g3 pro or clone Ausum gallop as they have good reviews. I was willing to up my budget to an apology phantom v4 but I’ve read multiple bad reviews regarding the QA of the scooters and horrible customer service.
    My question is as I would like to watch more reviews and read up more on this brand YUME, how is the quality of the hawk you own, components and all? Is the stem firm and stable as the suspension? The only thing I don’t like in this as opposed to the other scooter I mentioned on my list is the removable battery giving you the upturn to upgrade easily.
    I would greatly appreciate your input.

    • @AmpedTreads
      @AmpedTreads  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The stem is firm/ridgid as well. Quality of the components are really good. I haven't had a failure of anything that was material and I have abused the scooter beyond belief. As far as the battery swapability, you can swap it, you will just have to access the 10 bolts and then exchange it. I'm pleased with mine. Good luck.

      Also bad customer support goes for most scooter companies and that shouldn't deter you from buying a scoot

    Hi ,
    Hawk pro ?

    • @AmpedTreads
      @AmpedTreads  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Just the good ol' Hawk... not the Pro. I initially wanted to get the Pro, but I couldn't find off-road tires for it, so i wound up just going for the standard Hawk. I hope to get the Raptor next. Same specs as the Pro, but has 11x4" off-tires, better off-road clearance, sine wave controller, 30Ah battery, and a 60 mile range. Thanks for watching. Have you see the 35 minute off-road video I do on the Hawk? It's got a lot of information you may enjoy. I spend a lot more time talking, editing, etc.

      greetings and blessings, a question: can the accelerator of this scooter be changed

    • @AmpedTreads
      @AmpedTreads  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It can... and it comes with a different style. If you're not going to ride off-road terrain too aggressively you can certainly switch out for the index throttle. I tried it but due to the off-road nature of my riding it just wasn't an option. You can see the index throttle at the following link: th-cam.com/video/gupvhBm0n0c/w-d-xo.htmlsi=CTw0GYF3yub9Fh8x&t=110 Go to the 1:50 mark and it is circled in the video. To switch it out is fairly simple too. You just have to remove the brake lever (1 screw) and then the screws for the throttle. Blessings to you too! :)

    This or the Kukirin G3 Pro? after this test ride could you tell me how much range you got? how was the suspension, are they stiff like they claimed? I saw an American rode this thing & only got 25miles from 95% with only 20ish% left, poor imo especially considering the claimed range.

    • @AmpedTreads
      @AmpedTreads  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      My longest ride I went for 32 to 34 miles. I had between 20 and 40% battery left, but I can’t tell you what the exact percentage left over would’ve been. I think it would easily hit the 40+ mile range. They also said it would only do 43 and I know that I have had it up on three separate occasions to 49. Give or take a couple of percentage margin of error. I still know that with GPS I have seen at least 46. I feel you can probably be rest, assured that it will, do what they say it’ll do.

      @@AmpedTreads I hope you have the same one I'm about to get though as there's still the Pro version, I'm taking the regular one. Anyways, I see you live in Colorado hilly area, ever tested its max speed on flats? & how do you plan changing the inevitable battery 500cycle lifespan? you think one can swap in some DIY 22.5A 60V battery preferably from Samsun or some other reputable brand or what?

    • @AmpedTreads
      @AmpedTreads  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I do an acceleration test as well as the speed test displaying top end in another video. Click on my channel and look for the YUME Hawk 1000 mile review. Yes, I do live in Colorado and it is hilly. I also beat the heck out of it. I love riding off-road, and that is why I chose this versus the pro, because I could not find off-road tires to fit the little pro wheels. I can also assure you I am really glad that I got this instead of the pro because now I want to get there Raptor which has even bigger wheels and more power. Not that I want the top end, but I definitely want the power to be able to go up any hill that I want to. As far as changing out the battery very simple to service these things. You’re looking at 10 X screws to lift the cover and then from there you should be able to change out the battery with just a couple of plugs. I’ve had my cover off a few times in the past, and I’ve had no problems. I will probably buy the raptor later this spring or early summer. Be sure to check out the other videos too. I’ve got a day ride, where I kind of cover some of the nuances of the Colorado laws. Not really pertaining to you, but still interesting to see how our government is handling these things. Also, talk about a lot of this in that video. it’s long-winded, but I tried to give as much content that I could in that video.

      @@AmpedTreads Thanks dude, I hope I'm not asking to much questions but, you know these things cost 1k+ and if I'm paying that much and can get a test ride, I better ask someone who also owned one.

      I fully understand. It is a big investment. I bought two of them and I’m happy with them both. You will see I have put 1137 miles on my primary one that’s in the review video and you will see how I write it. I am not gentle on this thing.
