Been listening to this track on TH-cam every Saturday morning for about Ten years - I love this cover and the original
Bluejuice should make a cover album, they've got a talent for interpreting songs

I was concentrating on not forgetting any words, and it feels weird sitting down and performing an intense song like that in studio. I enjoyed it a lot though, because everyone was playing and singing well, and there was a strange, good mood to it. I know what you're saying though. I look annoyed at the camera. ;)

Are you kidding, Lola? I'm not sure what your knowledge of music is, but their harmonies are spot on. Not the same as the one's on the original track, obviously, but that wasn't the goal. This is a wonderful, original, cover.

A cover shouldn't be an attempt at a recreation, that kind of defeats the purpose, surly.
A cover should be a song of another artist with your own artistic "Flair" or "spin" attached to it.

I heard this back when it first came out and it STILL slaps. I played it to all my friends just recently because we were talking about covers and they all loved it and were singing along!
@bayse11 - why do we have to do it with the same intention as she does? I really respect her as a performer and as a writer, and yes, I think there's an unsettling undertone to this song. I don't think we nailed the emotional content of the song, but if we completely missed the mark, why are people responding to it? It doesn't make sense. And beyond that, we are not Lana Del Rey. We are a party band, doing what we do. I literally put this arrangement together in two hours. Sorry you dislike it.

Lana Del Rey is my favourite artist of all time, however I think this version was just as amazing as the original, in its own seperate way
So damn catchy! Whenever I hear the original, in my head the tempo speeds up and it just turns into this version. Props all round :)

@GangstarzY19 - Bro, we wrote this arrangement literally two hours before doing it. I can tell you personally, as the main dude doing it, we didn't rip anyone off. As if we'd even do that.
