President Nelson Reminds Colombians What Is Possible Through Jesus Christ

- President Russell M. Nelson of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints taught tens of thousands of Latter-day Saints gathered in Bogotá, Colombia, Sunday afternoon that heaven’s greatest blessings are possible thanks to Jesus Christ.
“We receive great comfort from God when He says: ‘This is my work and my glory - to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man,’” President Nelson said in Spanish, quoting a scripture. “Both of His objectives are possible by the Atonement of His Beloved Son, Jesus Christ.”

¡Que maravilloso es escuchar al profeta hablar a la gente en Colombia en su propia idioma! Es un cumplimiento de la promesa: “todo hombre oirá la plenitud del evangelio en su propia lengua y en su propio idioma, por conducto de los que son ordenados a este poder” (DyC 90:11)

This is such a blessed day in which to be alive. This is the day that all of the prophets which the Lord has ever sent have looked forward to. And we are the ones who get to be alive at this time to witness it. It is so exciting to see the vitality and love of God's prophet on the earth, Russell M. Nelson, who will celebrate his 95th birthday one week from today. What a man of God. I invite all who are not yet members of this amazing Latter-day work to take notice, and to seek the spirit of understanding and love.
Delight in the words of the Lord and know you can do hard things. The gospel, beautifully restored

It is wonderful President Nelson , Sister Nelson,, various members of the Quorum of the Twelve have & the Seventy have traveled so often to selflessly minister to members of the church throughout the world to exort them & bear witness to them of the Savior.
It is amazing that President Nelson visited Columbia! He did a reading in Spanish, which many enjoyed. Translations encourage people.
The prophet knows spanish due to the fact he 's a specialist on heart diseases and many times worked as a visiting teacher at the Catholic University of Chile ,that's why he has a good command of the language and an excellent relationship with the Vatican ,he even visited the Pope some months ago ....In Chile ,there's a ward ,it seems to me is Ñuñoa, where the prophet is considered part of the congregation as he would attend to the sacramental service whenever he visited Chile.
