Love it... The panel-a-day thing helped me make my first "full length" comic since I was a teen. Didn't always stick to a panel every day, but most of the time when I did a panel, I ended up doing more than one, so it balanced out!
Alex here (the Bigfoot comic guy). Thanks for this, Bryan. Really looking forward to future episodes. This is a great start, and I imagine it'll only get better.
Thank you again, Bryan!!! Really helped me get out of both the funk since Ed’s passing & the fog of trying to figure out next steps with my comics work. Follow the process. Stick to the marching orders. Let’s rock! 🤘🙏❤️
Glad to see everyone from IG made it!! Have a great week y’all!
Thank you! I'm taking notes. I'm glad you mentioned the manga thing. Ed in one of the KC episodes mentioned that Akira Toyiyama was one of the 5 richest men in Japan at one point. Not richest artists, one of the richest men period. I know Ed was trying to crack that code. Comics took a huge L and didn't even realise it because people would rather play twitter fingers than try to actually elevate. Working for some of these big companies can leave you tired and broken while some dude who doesn't know how to make comics is getting health insurance, a 401k and plenty of PTO. Why would anyone want to do that ?
Thank you, Bryan!!
Short-Term goal: 24 hour comic, Mid-Term goal: 22 page comic in a month, Long-Term: 64-page graphic novella in a year
This is wonderful, Bryan! Thank you for creating this space and sharing your voice with us. ❤️
Thanks, Bryan! I'm excited for this!
💛🖤💛
I spent most of April making a comic. That's how I processed my grief. It's not quite finished, but it'll be done and available soon. I embraced those marching orders. #MakeMoreComics
Thank you so much for using me as a positive example, it totally caught me off guard and made me feel vindicated AF!
Fantastic inaugural episode with heart, intelligence, common sense and a damn relaxing voice ta boot!
I am incredibly proud to be a small part of this wonderful movement working toward a new future for our craft, and for this wonderfully unique medium of self expression and entertainment that I like to call home.
I cannot wait for more episodes!
Ed would be fucking proud 🖤💛🖤
All compliments are well deserved brotha! Ye old humble son bitch lol 💛🖤✌️
Great advice and motivation sir!
Great first episode, sound advice and some much appreciated inspiration. Looking forward to the next one! 🖤💛🖤
Brilliant. My heart is full and it's thanks to you and the Kayfam buiding a new path forward.Got a lot to think about but I'll add more dialogue when I've digested this.
Excited to see where this project goes. Glad to be here for ep 1.
I'll be keeping an eye on this.
Brother B Moss with a voice like silk...
Thank You again for this, Bryan! 🙏
Thank you! Your effort, words, and intent are very inspiring. When you do more, I’ll be there.
Thank you, Bryan Moss, for articulating the difficult mix of emotions that I, as a fan and one whose passion for the art form was reinvigorated by Ed & Jim. Still processing the loss, 5 weeks later. Start every day, and end every night with a stack of CK episodes to rewind the clock, to 2018, to Hell, February of 2024. The sudden nature of loss, the shock, losing that voice, and artist, instantly. Still cannot fully accept the way things unfolded. Had something simple to love, each day, and then, gone. This first episode has helped with the healing, immensely. Hope you keep it going, but even still, 1500 episodes exist, with Ed And Jim, to keep us company, over and over again.
💛🖤💛 The little quirks are what make it real! Great insights, man!
Hey, B Moss! Glad you created this channel. Glad you are getting your feelings out. Hope to hear more from you. Hope you feature your own work alongside your friends & other fellow artists you respect (comics & otherwise).
Great talk here. Thanks for the work put into it
🖤💛🖤
Hopefully this was able to open everybody up to recording and getting themselves back out there! Bryan, the way you have shared your light with everyone is genuinely appreciated! To everyone else keeping Ed’s memory alive; you’ve all inspired me to draw even when I’m too tired to sit up and it’s a tremendous help. Ed lives on through us all and we won’t ever forget him!
Thank you for this, Bryan.
Thank you
We’ll be here.
Soild pilot. Good job to all those involved.
