Touched on exactly what I've been thinking. I recently watched season 1-6 (and both movies) of SATC and kept thinking about how they could not get away with a show like that in 2018. It would need so much generational adaptation

I'm still heart-broken over them not doing a 3rd movie but a live reading of the script is an AMAZING idea! If they're never going to make another movie then I think they need to at least find some way to share the story with us. A novelization or even graphic novel could be alternate options.
On a side note, shortly after it was announced that the movie was scrapped towards the beginning of this year I actually had a dream about what the SATC 3 movie would be like. I swear it was so real too!

Especially now, obviously considering what ~even more~ of a mess they've made of their tv show update with their And Just Like That..😏 I personally refuse to even watch it, mainly because they killed Big off 🙄..smh. Totally abandons the whole point of the original series, plus the 2 movies..
Guess they 'had to' do it, just cuz Chris Noth didn't wanna keep being involved with the series, so he could be known a bit more now as Chris Noth, not the guy who played Big.. Which I get, though.. So I guess they were caught between a rock & a hard place..Don't do a re-boot because it'd hafta be without him, or do one & hafta account for why he's not there..
I mean, I also heard they barely did any justice to why Willie Garson/Stanford passed in real life, hence would be gone from the show. I guess they were just 'strapped for time' to keep writing episodes, while still in real life trying to mourn over him.. :L
So.. But it's like..why couldn't they have just done the re-boot with just ~alluding's~/references to Big, instead of killing him, & just focused on the main women & the still-alive significant others..? Again, killing Big off just totally abandons the whole point of the original series/plus 2 movies. I don't think Carrie fully deserved Aidan either, personally, but that's more directly-so a matter of personal opinion haha 😄 But yeah, obviously that's where they've taken it though..😏 Killed Big, and brought Aidan back.
I want to start a petition for Andy to play Samantha. If even for a skit it would make me happy 😂

I would like to see SJP speak more freely and not think about everything before she says it. I think she’s nice but I don’t feel like she’s being herself in interviews. I kind of agree with Kim.
I voted for Cynthia but her campaign was horrible. All I heard her talk about was the subway system. She neglected the rest of the state and had no real structure or platform to her campaign. I think she would've been great but it was poorly organized.

Georgina Lewis That’s not what she wore in Ellen. It’s similar but the Ellen outfit was lighter denim and skinny jeans overalls. This one is wide leg. And the shirt didn’ t have the ties for a bow. I know this because after I saw her on Ellen I went out and bought the same outfit. 😂
