Hello Leonardo, The critical path for the project is the LONGEST time, not the shortest time. Because two of the paths can be completed in 19 days, doesn't matter, because the activities along the critical path will take 21 days. Hope this helps. Mark
@@basachi4992 That would be incorrect. Consider a project with 2 tasks, A, which can be completed by you in 1 hour and task B which will be completed by me in 2 hours. Both tasks can start at the same time, so if we both start our tasks at the same time, when will the project be finished?
@@The_Business_Doctor sorry, didn't see the reply. 2 hours? because we started our tasks at the same time? but i thought the whole concept of the critical path was that you could only do one task after the other. doesnt that mean that you would not be able to do more tasks that one at the same time?
@@basachi4992 Yes, that is correct. My simple example was based on each of us being on separate paths so I can do my work at the same time as you can, but my path is critical because it takes longer to complete.
I passed the PE-Industrial exam this week. Thanks to your amazing videos.
Congratulations!
Thanks for this! Short, sweet, to the point!

You're welcome, Kimleng!
Hello, why can’t the project be completed before 21 days if the others are 19?

@@The_Business_Doctor im rather certain the critical path is the SHORTEST path to the end node. NOT the LONGEST

Could you please do an example of multiple endings
Hi Akhila, unfortunately I'm quite busy right now and don't have time to make any extra videos.
