You are so talented and inspirational. After hearing your story about your mom and your birth mom all I can say is your Mom the woman who raised you must have been and hopefully still is a great inspiration to who you are. At least I hope so. I know my Mom sure did. I wouldn't have been the same person without a Mother who believed in me and let me pursue my creativity. It sure isn't easy and I'm jealous of your cool expensive interference paints. LOL I need to invest in at least a good one for my top pulls off the Gelli plate. I think maybe the Dollar Store white isn't doing what it is supposed to. Or it's just me needing to practice more. Thanks for lifting my day up :) Suzi
Have you ever tried Dendritic Monoprinting with Interference paints? Omg, using black cardstock makes them POP! You can use two pieces of glass, like what comes in picture frames, or two craft mirrors, & put little blobs of the paint on one glass & leave as is or spread around a bit. Put the second glass on top of the painted one & gently, but firmly, press out the air, & this will spread the paint a bit. Sometimes, when using the 3" or 5" mirrors, I'll spin the two a bit on each other to give a cool texture & design to the paints. Then using a knife, a pallet knife, or a thumb nail, separate the glass pieces, allowing in air between them. Next, lay your paper down on the surfaces & very gently slide your hands over the papers. Remove the papers & allow to dry. If you used a single color of paint, you can over print on the sheets of paper, but only after it thoroughly has dried. I love blending two or more colors to have variety in the designs created. You can use the monoprints just as you do with gel prints, if you want. Beautiful results!!!!!
Hi Froyle! Thank you for this video about the interference paints! I love that they “interfere with boredom!” I am still such a newbie at this but it seems that maybe (since I seem to be spending my son’s inheritance on this fun stuff) that perhaps I could just buy the full bodied paint, and then thin it out with some water if I wanted? This video is a year old, do you find that you are currently still using this paint in your art?? Thank you Ms. F. Art! Wishing you were my neighbor!!…I’d make you a pie!😂💕
Hi Donna, funny you should ask! Haha! I pulled out the interference paint yesterday having a play on the gel plate! The video will be up on Wednesday 👍🏼 Yes I think the full body is better for using with stencils & stamps. I just have some fluid paint in my drawers so I’m using that! 😍 Happy creating! Cheers Froyle
OMG, new subbie here (heard about you from Ceri)! I have several of the interference paints never could get how to use them! Will be binge watching all your videos while gel printing!
Je découvre vos expériences et j'aime beaucoup. La peinture interférence est magnifique mais, malheureusement, elle est hors de prix même un seul tube. C'est bien dommage de ne pas pouvoir en profiter. Salutations du sud de la France.

That sounds fabulous! 😍👍🏼 thank you so much for sharing this idea, I would love to see some of your prints! ❤️😘
Interference paint looks stunning when mixed directly in a pastel or off white/soft tone base. Your dentric is quite lovely!
Thank you 😘👍🏼
Those interference paints really transformed those dark backgrounds & brought them into another dimension.
Dendritic art is super kool too.
Thank you 😘 I just love experimenting with interference paints! 👍🏼

Oh that is just a pain, yes it can be expensive, watch out for sales, that's when I like to buy my paint. All the best, happy creating, cheers Froyle
Wow!
Isn’t it just amazing!! I love experimenting with interference paints! ❤️ Thanks for watching 💃🏻
It is amazing I love the paint on
It is so much fun! 😍 you’ll have to try it! 👍🏼😘
@@FroyleArt yes I just looked at the golden. It’s a bit pricy. I won’t buy the heavy body one, but might try a couple of the small bottles
@@joychip5994 the small fluid bottles don’t work well with stencils but look fabulous when you paint them on over dark backgrounds 👍🏼😍
If I wanted to use a page for the outside cover of a book, how would I seal the paper or would I have to? Thank you.
I use gloss medium or matte medium to seal my collage papers on canvas, it’s always best to give them a protective coating 👍🏼 cheers Froyle
Can you buy a clear interference paint and mix with your acrylic colors?
No, I don't think so, but you can buy an iridescent medium, you could give that a try, I think Liquitex sells it! Cheers Froyle
So interesting
