You are thorough with the exception of two extremely important foods, CABBAGE and fermented cabbage"sauer kraut " which have both been mentioned as must have vegetables for colon health. Some recent scientific studies suggest that sauerkraut will actually dissolve colon polyps.
Yes, screening is #1 defense to colon cancer. 2 yrs ago they found two polys one was 8mm and it was precancerous. I went back a year later and had 3 more polys only 3mm and one was precancerous. Luckily they were removed in time. I'm scheduled to have another colonoscopy in 3 years. I'm 69 years old & a black female. Diet is the key. I gave up sugar and red meat as of Dec 1st 2023 & I lost weight and feel a lot better. I will be viewing your videos often. Thanks for the information.
Thank you for the tips Dr. I'm 32 and was diagnosed with stage 1 colon cancer in November 21. Thankfully the tumor was removed and now in recovery. Your tips on nutrition are very helpful and will pave the way for me to prevent the cancer from returning. I also fully agree with your number 1 tip, get screened! Don't wait until you're 45 if you have a history of cancer in your family!
So glad it was discovered early. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
Did you find out it coz you went for a screen?
What was your symptoms if any ?
Hi Paul, you did not gone through chemotheraphy?
was it tiring for u?
Great, simple and straight forward. His screen test will not get us to Hollywood but it hopefully it will get us a longer life. The test should be called a Sameer test.
Broccoli sprouts are powerful cancer fighters.
That's is true
People who only eat meat (carnivore diet) think that brussel sprouts are toxic and that is why the body rejects tha taste of them. It is crazy how you have the entire spectrum of ideas surrounding foods. I suppose you have to find the middle ground.
Thank you Dr. ISLAM for all that you do. Good information ðâĪ
Thank you for the excellent tips!
ðððI learn a lot about Digestive health.Thank you so muchðð
My boyfriends grandmother was recently diagnosed with colon cancer. She didn't go to the doctor until her symptoms got worse. Hopefully she seeks treatment & takes care of herself.
I'm 70 years old and just had my first colonoscopy. My doctor thought I should at least have Stage 2 colon cancer, but I was entirely cancer free!
I eat lots of hot peppers, and snack on "fire" snacks, and I also eat broccoli very often.
It worked.
Salaams Dr. Thank you for this video-found it very helpful. Sad to see so many younger people getting colon cancer and while I'm no Dr.-I'm sure it's correlated to the traditional North American diet.
Thank you for the great tips. I will follow the dietary suggestions.
First Impression is the Best Impression... THis first video made me subscribed.... Nice and Informative

Over the years I have listened to both sides and did massive research and still am trying find truth. There are drs who say red meat is not bad (dr Ken Berry, dr Andrew Chafee, dr David Pearlmutter, dr Robert Lustig, Thomas Seyfried and others) they say sugar and processed food makes people metabolically sick
Im with you. I'm not convinced that red meat causes cancer. Cancer cells grow and feed on glucose & glutimine.
Red meat takes up to 48 hours to digest. Look at cows are they healthy I think high percentage very bad. Also look at how they color and glue red meat. With all that I say he'll no it's not healthy.
Great video!
Thanks very educational
I have had several family members die of colon cancer but I don't stay awake at night, worrying about it, because I eat a healthy diet, exercise, have no signs of colon cancer, and already have metastatic breast cancer all over my body so colon cancer would just have to take a ticket and wait in line. I also intermittent fast and have started 24-hour fasts as I'm at a stage, in my cancer journey, where it usually moves to a new spot. I've been fighting metastatic breast cancer for 30 years (actually 32 if you count the years I tried to get physicians to order a mammogram). I've found that it usually moves to a new spot about every 4.5 years and I'm coming up on that, since it moved to a lung in 2019, so this time I'm going to try and stop it for good.
Stay strong! Wish you the best.
from 16 years old. experiences: NO beans (flatulence), NO milk (lactose), NO coffee (diuretic), must be excluded from the diet... greetings from Croatia !!
Cancer grows and thrives on carbohydrates. All carbohydrates break down into glucose. Without glucose, the healthy cells consume the unhealthy cells instead. That bodily function is called autophagy. Donât take my word for it. Do a search on TH-cam for âautophagyâ and you will find physicians and other health professionals to explain it better than I can.
So what you are saying is NOT to eat these things?â@@prkacro
Thanks for sharing doctor âĪ

There are testimonials on youtube from cancer survivors who went on a strict keto diet which consist of mainly meat. they ate lots of meat and survived their late stage cancer. I am also surprised that the doctor recommends breads and rice which will quickly turn into sugar, what cancer cells feed on.
Completely agree!
I was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer and went thru a keto diet....2 years later I am feeling great and everything under control.
This advise is wrong! Beans and grains are completely bad for your gut health!

How do you feel about Acacia Senegal for fiber supplement? I'm one of those rare people allergic to Psyllium husk seed.
I'm 63. Just had my first colonoscopy. They removed 5 polyps. I'm so glad I had the colonoscopy. Changing my diet and getting back into the gym. I was very nervous about the cologuard coming back positive. The colonoscopy was a piece of cake. The propofol helped.

Oops! Thank thank you for your great tips, but I am 58 years old and need to get screened ASAP (colonoscopy) here in Thailand. In South Africa it's too damn expensive and my Medical Aid do not pay for it for just screening. So I will need to get it done here in Thailand under my Health Insurance Aid I have. I will ask my Gastro-Intrologist here as I have an app to see her soon after I got Yellow Jaundice from a taking a pain killer tablet. I still don't know the exact cause of my jaundice etc. Salute!!
My colonoscopy done and biopsy report shows â low grade dysplasiaâ.
Is it precancerous ?
Thank you Dr Sameer. From what I read in studies Mushrooms, garlic and flaxseeds are great for Colon and various other cancers.
Yes i heard about mushrooms turkey tail mushrooms helps fight cancer and water fasting
Love this
Tamarind looks like a "section of the intestines" in form.
The dark brown stuff inside the tamarind husk looks like human excrement.
So tamarind is almost identical to the appearance of feces in the intestines.
This is reminiscent of an "insistent" and "strong" message.
The persistent power of the message reminds us of a serious illness: bowel cancer.
I think the effect of tamarind plant on bowel cancer should be investigated.
Walnut consists of two adjacent oil seeds.
Each of these oilseeds is similar in shape to both the brain and gut anatomy.
Pick up one of these oilseeds and examine it.
Hold the walnut in your hand with the flat surface facing down.
In the middle of the walnut, you will see that there is an extension that ends by tapering from the bottom.
This extension looks like a "rectum".
You will notice a thick and protruding texture on the outermost part of the walnut.
This thick protruding tissue looks like the "large intestine."
If you pay attention, you will see lines resembling a vein extending from one end to the other in the middle of the tissue.
These lines look like veins on the large intestine.
Walnuts can be an ideal food for the intestines.
Cut the onion in half neatly with a knife from the protruding top point.
Now take one of the cut pieces and examine it.
It looks like nested circles.
There is a protective vegetal "membrane" on the outside of these circles.
The anatomy of the intestines is more or less like this.
Similar to the onion skin, our intestines are covered with a protective membrane: the peritoneum.
In the anatomy of the intestine, there is the outermost large intestine.
The large intestines extend from one end to the other and end by connecting to the rectum region.
Just like the outermost husk of an onion is attached to the protruding apex in the middle of its husk.
Onions are hard and have a burning taste.
This feature of the onion suggests that it is a unique "cleaner".
An ideal bowel cleanser.
I am writing with google translate.
I hope there is no problem with my english.
Nice. ð ð
Beautiful, thank you. Plants are so amazing. Itâs the same with beets. The juice looks just like and almost has the same consistency as blood, and Iâve learned recently that they are rich in iron and help with anemia.
Red meat which is grass fed and organic is fine.

Good afternoon. Assalamu alaykum. I am from the Philippines. How do I know if I have this condition. What are the symptoms and its cure naturally
Is it painful cancer sir
Dr Islam please go over the dangers of colon screenings, thank you!!!
If Colon cancer runs in your family screening is always better then not screening irrespective of any possible remote dangers ...and they are remote.
I have ulcerative pancolitis and I drink powdered wheatgrass with juice and water everyday. I also take 2 graviola (soursop leaves) in capsule form everyday to prevent colon cancer.
