I’m seeing a lot of complaints about the video not being informative enough, like people not knowing how to get to certain places etc. This video is a levelling guide, not a walkthrough. It does it’s job perfectly and is very clear
I'm brand new and I get it I'm here for what to do I'm gonna be watching this video a bunch over the next few weeks and then going to find visa on how to do what he is saying your already on TH-cam this has all the general info in one place and it's sectioned in to levels I'm on 1-9 ATM lmao but great info teaching me tons of stuff
So there is 2 guides needed for eso, 1 for pro players leveling alts and one for new players, this guide starts great for pro players looking to be most efficent, but then starts telling me for 10 mins how to do basic mechanics I already know, and judging by the new players complaining its not great for them either as it does not go into basic things like traveling and whatever else they are complaining about.
Every minute of this video was so valuable lol. I can kill faster, move faster, I have more tools at my disposal, I loot more... so glad I took the time to watch the whole thing.
Quick note!: while yes equipping 3 pieces of gear does unlock the skill line. same with killing an enemy with a weapon unlocks the skill line. you can actually unlock said skill lines if you read books. anytime you pass by a bookshelf, interact with it and then close the book. if you are lucky you might gain some XP in a skill you haven't unlocked yet, and in doing so you will unlock said skill line :)

Thanks for the help!! got ESO yesterday and got lost, so all your tutorials are great, now I know everything I need to know and learning the minor things along the way
it takes me back to when i first played eso in 2016 and didnt know anything about this game... learning all of the stuff on my own was so fun, especially the crafting, its was very different from anything i had in other games and kinda confusing but when you understand it once it's not so terrifying anymore. honestly eso is still my favorite mmorpg despite all the flaws it has bc it's so versatile, with big and beautiful open world, with outstanding voice actors and stories and even tolerable (for a mmo) TES lore
honestly i downloaded ESO and felt overwhelmed with all the systems as a new player but this video helped me to put my self in a straight line and i felt better after thank you!
One thing I think you might've missed out is how to acquire the undaunted guild skill line, there are npcs in the taverns of each faction's starting capital that you unlock it by talking to them
You can pick up the Mages and Fighters Guild in Solitude too. There right next to the Digging Stuff. And if I remember correctly the NPC's for this also stand outside so you don't need to wait for 4 loading screens.
As soon as I start a new character the 1st thing I do is join the undaunted, mages guild and the fighters guild. Then increase bag space and do the quests for each crafting line. Obviously also do things like level mount speed.
@@fiha4186 Because once you have done the quests you can do the daily writs and get items and gold. Also it’s better to start researching different weapons and armors because each time you research a piece it takes longer for the next one. I've tried ESO on two separate occasions and I just couldn't have fun with it. The combat felt simultaneously clunky and extremely easy, the progression felt very muted like new skills didn't matter because I'd just end up doing the same thing anyway, and so on. Would following a guide like this help? I think perhaps a more progression driven focus would aid in my enjoyment but I also don't want to miss out on the storylines the game is lauded for. I really don't know how to properly enjoy this game and I'd really like to.
So many people in the comments tripping bc people want to know how to get to the areas. Im new and want to power level a video I saw said questing is the slowest way to level and I don't care for questing I want to do dungeons and pvp. So yeah I wanna power level and start getting gear that matters
cool fact, the gear you find always matters. what you find now you can reconstruct at the max level later. so no gear you find early is a waste, it just makes your life easier later cus you won't have to farm it then
Hi there, just bought the game and was following your guide, I'm a bit confused as to whether I can go get those companions even if I don't have dlcs? I bought standard
I just came back after years and your videos are great. At the same time I still feel very overwhelmed. I already picked a starting place in the portal room so hard to navigate this huge map for the companions. Everywhere I go there are so many quests I can’t even tell which is the main one and which to do, stumbling in more and more quests. Any advice would help I want to keep playing. It seems like a solo game now a days.
I'll start by thanking you for your guides and especially for the one bar builds that I feel comfortable with. Being a solo player all the time (I have difficulties with the English language), I would really appreciate it if you could suggest what type of companion to use in the case of one bar constructions. I generally use the tank construction (Isobel) and healing Ember or Dps for the Warden, Nightblade and Necromancer Magic constructions in the magic constructions (Templar) as a companion.
I only started playing a month or so ago and now that my one character is like CP 250, I actually just want to start a new one because there was so much I didn’t know. I feel like this video really hit on all those things I wish I knew from the start (and more actually). Thank you!
People still play ESO? I stopped playing like 4 or 5yrs ago. But if you want to lvl up fast, just run dolmens in Alik’r desert ( assuming that still goes on). Also it’s a great way to lvl up your crafting. Just Deconstruct everything you get.
I appreciate this guide, thank you. Question, with the upcoming Arcanist many will be making a new character. What do you you suggest as a starting faction, and also for players with multiple alts already, where do we go 1st? Should we do the original main campaign and follow the DLC order? Start in the new zone? Im not sure what to do. Thank you.
I wish someone would have told me about scrying. I got to cp260 before I unlocked it, now i have to focus scry all the way to level 7 in one go to get my oakensoul. Edit: I had no idea you could use the eye to point. 😢
What annoys me is the pledge keys unlock the chest I need for my shoulder but it’s two sets and what ever weight so you need to do it enough times to get the set and weight
Hey, question for anyone who plays this game really: I can only use one of my arms but play WoW/FFXIV pretty well, I use an mmo mouse to make up for several deficiencies I have. So myquestion is are the controls something that I should be able to handle or are wasd all 100% required to play leaving few keybinds for abilities? Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this but I couldn’t really find an answer elsewhere. I can make do with W being required but beyond that it gets into a grey area for me.

Why have i never knew about that Major Gallop 😅...
