EVA-01 is my favorite mecha in SRW Alpha (after SRX), simply because of the berserk mode... equip him with a parts (forget the name, but it makes the repair cost a measly 10), send him alone into the middle of enemies, and then just let him loose...
That's actually a legit strategy in F.

The Tem Ray Circuit. Halves Movement and Mobility, but reduces repair costs down to 10 G.
It's especially legit in F if you're aiming for the Evangelion Bad End. Although if you're not, paying the cost for the dead Evangelion is a terrible, terrible idea.

Old dub screams still sound more haunting to me than the original japanese.
Idk if me and you watched the same dub but japanese version sounds more like a woman howling/screaming than the dubed one considering the eva 1's nature...
@@rhain527 nippon version sure sounds more "fitting" cuz if Yui. But the dub versions i feel were more subtle. Everytime before the full awakening when 01 screamed in the dub it had a mechanical sound and it steadily become more and more "organic" so when the full awakening occured in the original dub it was even more haunting that it screamed like an actual living flesh and blood creature instead of a machine. The fact it sounds more "manish" just makes it that much more terrifying to me since yui ISNT fully human anymore inside the evas blackbox core
Always wondered if the original Berserk EVA's gonna come back.... especially since Netflix sorted out the legal rights.
The Z3-1 version is pretty great with the way the camera gradually closes in on the carnage.
I'm loving each one of your evolution videos so far. As others pointed out, SRW aDC is missing, but also, if i recall correctly, the animation in the PS version of SRW F is different than the one in the Saturn version. (it uses some new animation rather than zoomed in sprite)

Why do they all call the Berserk Unit 1 "Dummy Plug"? Pretty sure dummy plug and berserk are two things.
SuperFeatherYoshi Alpha 3 onwards just says "Unit 01". In the case of MX it does make sense in that one video since they did use the Dummy Plug to take out Bardiel.
Technically that's not true either, it was the Dummy "System" that took out Bardiel, a Dummy Plug is completely different from a regular entry plug, since it doesn't have room for a pilot.

As far as Eva 1 was concerned, it was obeying its dummy pilot as of it were a real pilot.

İt's strong on it's own but becomes super overpowered when it goes berserk, Rayquaza is very strong on it's own and after Mega evolving into Mega Rayquaza it becomes very OP
(it even used to be the most Op pokémon until eternamax eternatus came in)

I still played srw f final even if i don't understand japanese and lost alot of battles lol. You start with Gundam F-91 and when you get 01, let the enemies kill you and go auto berserk and win lol. The girl boss with the eye patch wrecked 01 berserk tho.

I almost hate to make this comment, since I know the game is a bit rarer and the 3d SRWs are less popular but I kind of wish you'd been able to get Alpha for Dreamcast's Berserker in there.
Part of it's probably nostalgia on my part but the @DC version is still my favorite. And after seeing all the others back to back like this I think it might hold up objectively too.
It's very unique compared to these. Just the way the camera work was done plus it has this cool, very Evangelion, bit where random quick cuts of kanji are interstitialed into the sequence.
It's a shame @DC footage is so rare. In some ways it was more impressive the GC.
Yeah I really apologize for that. I did tried to get Alpha DC to work, because I do think its an interesting game to record, but to no luck.

@3's Berserk EVA-01 still has the best attack animation. That says a lot about Z3...
There's nothing wrong with Z3's versions. It's just that Alpha 3 was, and still is, to this day the best SRW game.
Z3 animation is bad... the sprite doesn't even look good. It doesn't look like 2D art and looks bad for 3D sprite...
Nah, Alpha 3 still lost to MX in terms of animation. But I guess they can't beat the team that made OGs.
+Caseko Come on, Z3's animation may be bad but its sprite is one of the best. I think that's part of the reason why the animation was so hideous. They aren't used to HD sprites yet.

is there any way for playing any of this games in english?, i don't know, maybe a patch?
Toa Pholux Tarchex Alpha Gaiden and J, or Judgement, have fan translations, the OG GBA games are licensed by Atlus and thus available in English, SRW V was released for the SEA region in English, as was OG Moon Dwellers.
Note that the games labeled OG do not feature licensed properties like EVA, and have rosters composed solely of Banpresto Originals.
Not only that, but not all games will have whatever mecha series you like. Rosters change, game by game. They're all mostly standalone though, except for all the Alpha games, the Z games, and the Classic timeline games on the SNES.
At least, I'm pretty sure the Classic games are connected.
i don't think i would like to follow the whole history :/ buuuuut, i want to see an evangelion kicking other mechas butts, eve if only the main menu and actions is the only translated stuff, it worth it, i googled them many times, but i can't find them, could you please tell me, where to look?, maybe a blog er something?
