The aviation side of his channel will always be at the forefront of course, but I think him spending a few days at some of these amazing places he visits would do good for his channel and himself. He does this at times, but I think it needs to be a much more common thing.
Take care of yourself, Noel. Just know that you make alot of people happy with your content. Burnout happens to us all, take a long break, and we will wait for you.

Very rare I comment on YT videos but this is definitely worth an exception. Thanks for getting me and many others through the year Noel, really have enjoyed your brilliant content for many years now. It's great to see Rachel is doing so well! Merry Christmas to you and your family!
First thing I noticed was Rachael’s remarkably steady stride. 👏 Been watching you so long it’s like hearing of my own family members’ ups and downs. Enjoy your R&R. Happy Holidays!
Love watching your vids Noel! I always wondered if it did burn you out having to go to such great lengths (literally) making content, it’s completely understandable, but you do a great job man ❤
I am SO SO SO Happy that Rach is doing better.. She has always been a lovely person but I think all of the pain and hardships that her condition caused her really set her back. She really seems like a new person like she's gotten a second chance..she really deserves it.. especially after putting up with you for decades 😁. Kidding but again I'm so happy that she's feeling alot better. As for you Noel, you have worked tirelessly to build up your channel and you have. You have a channel you can truly be proud of. I know you keep wanting to do more and you want to spend as much time at home as possible but it will do Rach and the kids no favors if you get really sick because you pushed yourself too far. Your constant lack of sleep is ruining your immune system and you need that if your going to be exposed to so many people. Congratulations on 600K and wishing you the best in 2025.
All valid points. I don’t know what I missed about Rach but I’m another Rach who has been dealing with various illnesses since I was born and especially since I was diagnosed with Gaucher’s disease when I was 5 years old. I’m glad to read that Noel and family are doing well but although he is discussing the pneumonia now, based on other comments so far it sounds like he needs to take a bit of a extended break. I realize now I didn’t have my notifications set to “all.” Fixed that. But I agree, take a rest, and then in the future pace yourself. You can’t be any good to anyone most of all your family if you let yourself get run down exhausted or sick gd forbid. I hope 2025 is great for you and everyone reading this. And those who didn’t see it. 😊
Just saw the bottom part Well, I saw it before but I actually registered it now. ADHD brain. But I also wanted to say congrats on 600 K. And that may be 2025 will be the year you hit 1 million. I know the first half 1 million probably took a lot longer but I think once the channels start growing (assuming they have a decent topic/Content which these do) they do so exponentially faster from what I’ve seen. 😊
I think you can slow down a little bit by only taking one flight per video and showing us some of the local food at that destination. Instead of multiple flights crammed into most videos. And give us an update on life in the USA. We would love a video like that.
Agreed. Actually VISIT the places you go to--allows you to slow down a little and provide some interesting content. And PS, it doesn't fully count as making it to a state/country if you never leave the airport/train station.... You just transited through.
27:03 Truly sound advice from Rachel. You don't want to try and recover in a hotel room in a city where you don't know anybody, and you need the easiest way to get home, because dragging your butt across a terminal and sitting around waiting for your next connection is pure torture. So big shout out to Rachel, she's a legend mate. Also delighted to learn that she has made such great strides to heal!
Rach, I’m so happy you’re in less pain and discomfort long may it continue. Noel thank you for all your hard work this year. Your videos really help so much! Take it easy next year mate. A very merry Christmas and a happy new year to you, Rach and the little ones 🎄🎁
Ahh! Noel and Rachel, love this video! Noel the honesty was great and quite refreshing, you’ve got to take time and care for yourself! Your fans will always be here and personally I’d quite enjoy seeing more flights in the US and North America. No need to overdo it and push yourself so much. And great to see Rachel doing do well! Love to you both and hope you have a great Christmas and new year!
OMG I didn't expected for Miles in Transit to show up in one of your videos, I keep seeing him in more videos of my favorite TH-camrs, I loved this crossover.
From a long-time follower: Your best videos are the ones where you take your time immersing in the travel experience - which includes talking about planes, trains, buses, whatever. These types of challenges, along with other rushed and crazy videos you've been making, have very little content and tend to be boring and repetitive. They get you tired and that's it. We don't need them. In many of your recent videos, there isn't much to see, apart from you😉. Keep it easy, take care of yourself, and remember where you came from as a TH-camr. You're my favorite TH-camr in this subject area as I find you likeable, informative and honest with good communication skills. Rachael, I am so happy for you and your newfound health. May you both have many blessings in the coming year.
Noel, thank you for your content and for showing the rest of us what the world looks like through a lens. I understand completely about burnout as I too am a bit burned out from my job as well. That is scary that you almost died from double pneumonia! I was like your Rach was as I too had gallstones in 2021 that was wrecking some serious havoc on my health. I feel I almost died as I thought at one point in the year of 21 that I had cancer. However I am still alive and still kicking and am now as healthy as I can be. It’s so nice seeing Rach with you. She seems more healthy now than she was before and it’s very nice to see!! I hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I look forward to seeing your videos in 2025!
Ouldn’t agree more! Very happy she finally found a therapy that’s working for her! Too young to be suffering like she was (and hopefully never does again)!
What fantastic news, Rachel, it has clearly made a world of difference to your mobility, and I wish you the very best for your new business. As for you, you old moaner, you have provided us with some amazing insights, and I feel sure your well-earned rest and time with your wonderful family will go along the way to recharging your battery. I am looking forward to hearing about your progress towards getting your commercial licence, and who knows, you might end up at the very front of a CRJ200! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
So happy to see Rachel doing so well. When you were walking to the plane I did a double take and thought I’d missed a video! Happy New Year and looking forward to 2025!
As a long time subscriber and a fellow traveler that spent more than 34 years with the airlines and has done his share of traveling, I want to tell you that it’s guys like you that I looked forward to serving. You know how to set the expectation bar and you inspire me to keep moving forward! I haven’t gotten to 50 states yet myself. I have six more to go…Thanks Noel!
OMG!!! As soon as I saw your good lady I thought she looked a hell of a lot better and happier, then you started talking about having no assistance since her therapy. I'm over the bloody moon she's managed to get her mobility back!!! She must feel so liberated. Maybe she can now join you on future torturous Greyhound journeys
Great to see Rachel looking so well. Glad to hear you’re looking at making adjustments to your schedule to better suit your own health goals. We love your channel but health and family first. Merry Christmas to you all!
Just a tidbit of info in case you don’t know, the airport designated as Cincinnati (CVG) is actually on Kentucky soil. Everyone flies to Louisville thinking that’s the only airport to be in Kentucky. CVG is an international and it’s very nice too. Merry Christmas 🎄🎁
Exactly. CVG comes from Covington KY. I transited there once back during the Delta hub days and it was quite a really nice airport to connect through vs the chaos of some of the bigger hubs
Noel, it’s a Christmas miracle..running into Rachel!(grin). Thanks for the candor in this video. Enjoy some well deserved time off. We will all be here when you are ready!!
Number one Noel, take care of yourself. We are here to support you. Stay in the U. S. for a while. You have a beautiful family and they need you healthy. Happy Holidays. Much love from Pennsylvania ❤️❤️❤️😊
that's the great story, I love that Rachel is back on her feet, literally! great to see her in the better shape and also see you being happy and proud about it, best way to finish 2024, don't care for your burn out because it's a such a positive news, absolutely love it! thanks for sharing your bad moments and good luck for the future! just don't be riding ufo's
Thanks for showing us all of your travels and keep up the brilliant vlogs. Lovely to see Rach on the channel and it's great to see her health is improving, well done her. All the best, Regards Steve 😁
It's been a pleasure watching your videos the last few years, this past year you have really pushed yourself and it's been amazing to watch. You are a lot more patient then many people would have been. Congrats on getting your licence and looking forward to videos with you in the pilot seat. Have a great holiday you and the family, see you next year!
What a nice video! When you described being so far from home and being so ill, I cried. I can't imagine how awful and scary that would be to be so far from home and having pneumonia. Congratulations on being in all 50 states! I was so happy to see Rachel too. She looks absolutely fabulous! Regarding what you stated about burnout, that is a very real thing. Your body is telling you to slow down and take it easy. As much as we love seeing your many travels, we also want to see you healthy and happy physically and mental health wise. Burnout is no joke. Been there, done that. Listen to your body. We will be here with you. May you and your family have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
This is true, except for a couple of times in Illinois for a couple different functions I’m trying to think, but I think aside from that I have literally been to the states on the eastern seaboard. I have, however, been to London for a month. 😊
Fun fact. The flight path for Chicago and Sioux falls actually flies right above the iconic I90 interstate. The I90 is one of the most beautiful interstates in the US that starts in Chicago and ends at Seattle. It crosses some beautiful landscape crossing the breath of South Dakota, Montana and finally Washington State
Noel, excellent video! So glad to know Rachel is doing so well. She looks like a like a completely different person. I’m looking forward to everything you plan on doing in the next year!
I dont really watch long videos (videos over 15-20 minutes). But Noel's videos are exception to that, because I can watch them attentively or just play them in background and enjoy :))
Can totally relate when you’re talking about videos being 10 of 10 Noel. Despite everything, you can help but let it get to you! Congratulations on a fantastic year, I’ll look forward to your adventures in 2025!
I knew something was different with Rach when I saw her boarding the plane. That was the best news of all. Congratulations for finding something that worked. Enjoy the pain free time you will have going forward.
One can certainly understand why one could feel so burned out after all those miles this year. Noel, as you mentioned the burnout issue, would staying longer at each destination allow you to catch your breath? Fewer trips, but longer trips. You certainly have the skills and charisma to extend your repertoire! Anyway, best holiday wishes to you and your family!!
Does it count if you don't put your foot down? On driving around Europe with the kids we had to stop somewhere to actually do something even if it were just eating or having a pee, it didn't count if we stayed in the car. Just a thought
@@MaartenOosterbaanI count it if you set foot on the ground, even if you just have a connection at the airport. But staying on the plane, or train, doesn’t count.
I rather felt the same about including Maryland if Noel only passed through on the train (but perhaps he did get off somewhere that didn't appear in the video). For myself, I generally only count places if I've actually been on the ground and not just in vehicle that is on the ground or flying over it (although I do stretch the definition a bit to include a couple of places where I have only been in an airport).
But since it is a channel whose primary focus is Aviation, I’d say landing at the airport certainly fulfills the “requirement.” I find airports and airplanes fascinating myself. There are any number of places where I can see folks doing travel blogs walking around. I very much appreciate the pure focus on just aviation for flying’s sake.
So nice to see Rachel looking so healthy and getting around so well! You look after yourself, Noel. We enjoy the journey with you whether it’s to Kathmandu or Kansas.
PLeeeaaase Noel.... Your video's, stories, adventures are so good to watch. But NOTHING, NOTHING is more important than your health, take it from me I KNOW! Take time out, we will all be here when you are ready to come back. BTW - I'm guessing its your birthday this month (Noel) so a speculative Happy Birthday 🙂 and Merry Christmas & a Happy, Healthy New Year! Great to see Rachael up & about and looking so good 🙂
So happy both of you found growth this year and, then, sharing it with us. I truly feel honored to be a small part those who enjoy your odysseys. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you and yours.
Noel, your videos are the highlight of my weeks especially if I have a stressful time myself from time to time. It’s like having a family friend check in when I see a new video pop up. Take care of yourself and your family
Lived in the US for 2 years and have only been to 45 states? Man, I work for a major US airline and have lived in the US for my entire life (21 years) and have only been to 25 😂 Maybe thats some good justification for you to slow down a little
@@fanoftom3483 considering 95% of Americans wouldn’t get that pronunciation correct imma go with the British dude was actually having trouble getting it.
Same as how some countries he just leaves the airport to go to a hotel and then the next day just goes back to the airport without seemingly seeing anything in the country...
Agree, I don't count it unless I leave the airport/station and get into the place properly - I don't think changing planes or whizzing through on a train counts!
My initial thought about Rachel was she looks so good and cool. Only when you talked about the impediments I remembered that there was this issue. Happy for you all she made this step forward! 🎉
Maybe one way you could slow down while still travelling a lot like you do would be to spend a bit more time at each destination, tagging a bit of a "travel blogger" to your "airline blogger" title. TBH, I feel for you: you get to visit all those fancy places, yet you mostly just see the airport (they all look the same) and your hotel (also mostly generic) and, if you're lucky, the drive to the hotel and then back to the airport. And I've seen a couple of your videos where you wish to come back to certain cities, why not take the opportunity to do so and expand your channel. Have a good 2025, take care!
Good points raised, however Noel is in a very privileged position flying business and first class, many will never afford to travel half as much. it's a nice position to be in. Perhaps just fly less and then Noel will enjoy it more
Thank you for all the great entertainment this year. Wishing you and your family a fantastic Christmas and Merry new year. Enjoy your break and can’t wait to watch you again in 2025!!
Congratulations on stepping foot in all 50 states. (Personally, I don’t count a visit unless I spent the night.) I’m not far behind you, hope to catch up soon.
Noel, I just want to say this was such a nice and honest video. I do hope you slow down, if not for your health, but your family too. While we all love the plane trips, we don’t want it to come at the expense of your sanity. And I think many of us could sense the stress you’ve been feeling in your last videos too. I was really heartbroken to see how stressed you were on that island you’ve wanted to see since you were a kid. It was one of my favorite episodes too because it seemed so peaceful and friendly. I know you’re not a travel channel, but in your older videos, things didn’t seem as fast paced you know? You seemed to be able to get where you needed to be without back to back madness. Maybe for the next coming months plan more local flights or stay in the states for a bit. Travel takes such a toll on the body and it’s okay to slow down! If you feel that voice won’t quiet down and you’re pressuring yourself, maybe talking to someone or being mindful or setting boundaries (no working after x time or on the weekends or no back to back international flights this month) can help you breathe. Maybe even take some trips up to Canada too and see the local flights or stay in remote areas of Alaska. There’s a TH-camr I watch called truck house life maybe you could meet up with him there! He travels around Alaska and some of the states in his homemade truck house. My husband and I love watching miles in transit too in between your uploads, so what a fun collaboration.
Noel, listening to your self concerns, reminds you of me on many levels, you're never alone, if you need a chat find me mate. Big love to you and ya family over the festive period! Smile on! Xx
Jesus Christ. Imagine being able to fly business class home when your that ill and then be able to claim it back on insurance. Yet some people don’t even make it to the hospital in an ambulance. Calm down mate
It's a nice life to be able to travel first and business class and be able to make a living. It certainly doesn't seem like a hard life although appreciate it could catch up with you. One would think it's an amazing way to make a living and just fly less if it's getting tough.
Thank you for all the content this year. You have given me so much inspiration to start my own thing in 2025. I am currently on burnout from a job that was making me miserable. Health is everything. Happy holidays and happy new year from Montreal, Canada!
Hi Noel, great to see Rachael more mobile now! Thanks for some great content this year! The first video I watched was when you went to Spain for lunch! Take care & Happy Christmas, see you next year!
Noel it’s a pleasure watching your journeys across the world. The only advice I’d give you is to do what you feel you are able to do, both physically and mentally. Forcing yourself will only make it worse in the long run. We’ll be here waiting for your next adventure. And give my congratulations to Rach, it’s amazing to see the difference in her life. Take care and see you soon.
OMG, way to go Rachel! Once Noel met you in the airport I was thinking how much more energy you seemed to have! That's incredibly good news! So happy for you!
Happy Holidays to you and the family and thanks for sharing your adventures with us Noel! Take a much needed rest and I look forward to seeing you in the next year!!
This was a fantastic video!!! What a twist towards the end RACH. Showed up to accompany you to your 50th state.. congrats and congrats RACH on being able to ditch that wheelchair!!!! Cheers to a new year
I am so sorry you have been ill I hope you feel better....I pray for you to have a great upcoming year...enjoy some quiet time with your family. You have brought so much enjoyment to your fans over the years and we want you to be happy and if you slow down a bit for the sake of your health and your family we will continue to support you and we will not leave you!
Hi Noel! I just wanted to say that you're one of my favorite TH-camrs and the origins of your channel really inspired me! I hope to be able to do some of the things you do one day. You carry yourself very well and maintain a lot of class even when things go very wrong. I look forward to seeing what you have in store next year. I would love it if you did more flights in America because I've been wanting to explore more of my country and it'd be great to see what's out there. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and have a Happy New Year!
I'm so glad to see that Rachel is doing well. That's truly the blessing for 2024. I know this job is hard, but your audience loves you and your work. Get some rest and looking forward to more adventures in 2025.
Thank you Noel for opening your heart and showing yourself a little personally during the train ride. Although all your subscribers are happy with all your videos, sometimes it is good for us to know how you are? Because we are legitimately concerned. And knowing that you have fallen 4 times this year and gotten back up has encouraged us a lot. Merry Christmas Noel and huuuuge hugs from Colombia.
It's great to see your wife walking without any help. I've been watching you for years and to see her go from wheelchair to a steady stride in her step is amazing to see. Noel take a break and rest. We all need it from time to time. I hope to do the same with the states soon too. I've been to 25 but want to finish. Congrats on your completion of the states. Hey if you decide to fly long haul try doing food reviews in select places so you can get rest and recharge before your next flight. Burn out is crazy but if you mix it up when it does come you'll know what to shift to. Merry Christmas to you all and see ya in 2025
Hey Mate, your videos are amazing but your family is even more so. Enjoy as much time with them as possible and good luck with your health. Too much hard work isn't good for anyone
That Acela First Class trip really was a POOR BID, wasn't it? 😆Thanks so much for having me on, and congrats on getting to all 50 states!!

Coast to coast by turboprop. Could be an interesting journey.
Great to see Rachel looking so well. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
As a long time subscriber and a fellow traveler that spent more than 34 years with the airlines and has done his share of traveling, I want to tell you that it’s guys like you that I looked forward to serving.
It’s Loo-ah-vul 🤣🤣🤣
@@karenhenderson8850close enough!
Exactly. CVG comes from Covington KY. I transited there once back during the Delta hub days and it was quite a really nice airport to connect through vs the chaos of some of the bigger hubs
Anyone who thinks he can check off Ohio as a 50th state by flying into CVG is in for a rude surprise.
LOVE that this year had quite a few long form uploads, those are always my favs of yours! ❤
Glad you enjoyed them!
Noel, it’s a Christmas miracle..running into Rachel!(grin). Thanks for the candor in this video. Enjoy some well deserved time off. We will all be here when you are ready!!
Why is it that seeing Noel and Rachel together totally made this video real. Thank-you on New Years Eve!
Congratulations and Merry Christmas to Noel and Rachel👍⭐️🎄
FANTASTIC to see how well Rachel is doing!!! Happy holidays and happy new year! Take care of yourself next year!
That is so great to hear of your wife’s healing! Hope you have a more relaxed 2025
Rach looks great and happy.
Good to see her in better health!
"Only lived here 2 years and i havent bin to every state yet" homie ive lived here 30 years and have bin to 5 states 🤣🤣🤣
I have lived in America for 67
years and have been to about 10 states, give or take.
ONLY 45 in 2 years?! 😂 That’s still more than most people who live in the US their whole life!
Merry Christmas, Noel!
Happy Birthday, Noël. 🎄
I would love that too he could make series and maybe even do some plane watching versus travel on the planes too.
Merry Christmas Noel, and Merry Christmas to anyone who reads this post!!!
Does it count if you don't put your foot down? On driving around Europe with the kids we had to stop somewhere to actually do something even if it were just eating or having a pee, it didn't count if we stayed in the car. Just a thought
100% if you haven't left the airport, you haven't been there.
@@MaartenOosterbaanAgreed.
But since it is a channel whose primary focus is Aviation, I’d say landing at the airport certainly fulfills the “requirement.”
I find airports and airplanes fascinating myself. There are any number of places where I can see folks doing travel blogs walking around. I very much appreciate the pure focus on just aviation for flying’s sake.
Wishing you a healthier and happier new year Noel, take it easy and be well! 💖
Two years?? Blimey I remember when you were talking to us on your channel about making the move and it feels like a few months ago - time flies!
Brilliant to see Rachel back to health. Amazing. Thanks for keeping me entertained every Sunday.
Merry Christmas to you Noel! Please dont get burned out, take a break if you have to. Thanks for all the videos this year
So nice to see Rachel looking so healthy and getting around so well!
Great to see Rachael up & about and looking so good 🙂
Fab to see Rachel and glad to see her doing so fabulously well!
In 1938 the chocolate chip cookie was invented by chef Ruth Wakefield of the Tollhouse Inn in Whittman Massachusetts. BTW Loo'vull
I'm sure Mr. Dyson doesn't appreciate his products called a Hoover
So happy both of you found growth this year and, then, sharing it with us. I truly feel honored to be a small part those who enjoy your odysseys. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you and yours.
So happy for Rach that's awesome ❤❤ Hkpe you all have a very merry Christmas amd here's to a less stressful 2025
I was so shocked to see Rachel walking!! Wow! I’m so happy for her! ❤
Noel, your videos are the highlight of my weeks especially if I have a stressful time myself from time to time. It’s like having a family friend check in when I see a new video pop up. Take care of yourself and your family
Lived in the US for 2 years and have only been to 45 states? Man, I work for a major US airline and have lived in the US for my entire life (21 years) and have only been to 25 😂 Maybe thats some good justification for you to slow down a little
Congratulations Rachel
Congratulations to you noel for an amazing year.🎉
Your attempt to pronounce Louisville was absolutely hilarious. Take care of yourself Noel. Happy Holidays.
As a Louisville native, this was fun ! Remember, it's Luhl-vull. 🐎
rrruru
Hilarious, condescending….whats the difference?
@@fanoftom3483 considering 95% of Americans wouldn’t get that pronunciation correct imma go with the British dude was actually having trouble getting it.
@@mzmel1 yeah probably. 🤷🏼♂️
Well done for getting through a hard year. It was lovely to see Rach after a long absence and without assistance.
If you did not leave the airport you Can not cross the destination off
Same as how some countries he just leaves the airport to go to a hotel and then the next day just goes back to the airport without seemingly seeing anything in the country...
Same with not getting off train
You new here? That’s the way he travels, he is a plane (sometimes train, bus) and airport (sometimes station) vlogger. It’s his style.
It’s a channel about FLYING. So yes, flying to the airport means you’ve been to the airport.
So glad you made it to my hometown/home state of Wilmington, DE. Even cooler that you were joined by @MilesinTransit!
Be so happy when I saw Rachel doing so much better. It was a very busy year for you and your family.
Most Americans don't even visit all states in their lifetime...
thank you for providing us with the quality content this year noel, have a well deserved break and a lovely Christmas pal.
Congratulations on stepping foot in all 50 states. (Personally, I don’t count a visit unless I spent the night.) I’m not far behind you, hope to catch up soon.
Inside the airport is considered "no man's land". He didn't step foot in any state or country if he never left the terminal.
I am a big fan of Noel, but you can’t count Kentucky. You need to leave the airport.
Love the surprise Miles appearance
Happy New Year Noel. With all the tragedy happening in the skies I’m glad you’re safe.
We need a Jeb Noel Collab
We got a Miles Jeb and a Miles Noel collab already
There is a video in which Noel meets Jeb in the Greensboro airport.
@@kimballamram552 Video title is "I Flew America's LONGEST Turboprop Flight!"
Why are you being so rude? He seemed calm to me and was just being honest with us.
You are overacheiving here. Totally ok to post less frequently.
I’m so happy for rach! She sounds and looks so much more happier! You should be proud too Noel ❤
Ahhhhhhhhhhhh MILES IN TRANSIT crossover! Two of my favourite TH-camrs, what a way to end 2024! 🙌🏻
Merry Christmas to you all and see ya in 2025
Thanks for taking us all around the world with you Noel Merry Christmas and Happy New year to you Rachael and Family
Wishing you all a very happy Christmas and new Year. Thank you for taking me to so many places. Robbie. Stoke on Trent
Hey Mate, your videos are amazing but your family is even more so. Enjoy as much time with them as possible and good luck with your health. Too much hard work isn't good for anyone
