@@juicyburger2726 "they" is difficult to say. The number of police officers that are fans of Dave Grossman, that supports desensitizing agents to the act of killing, is not negligible. Much of police training is about the usage of force, and how to make people do things, maybe shoving them to a life cycle of incarceration and debt due to flimsy charges. So the "they" that police officers are, maybe in off hours, care about people, but their training, and the place they are put in, do not support their caring about the lives of who they claim are criminals.

They don't care about the lives of Black people. Especially those in the poorer areas. The solution is racially focused policing. All these problems are rooted in racism and we need to have racially focused initiatives to solve them. Black cops should be the ones to deal with black people unless a situation arises where all hands need to be on deck. For example if a black person has a gun in hand or is doing violent criminal acts ok. White officers always want to find a reason to harm black people well they can stay in the office until a black officer calls them out that they're having trouble with a particular black suspect. If a white officer encounters a black person on the streets and they are no threat call a black police officer to the scene and let the black officer take it over from there.

This video has opened my eyes about a lot of things I have experienced in the last 9 years of my life. I was a victim of Police brutality in 2013 in Brooklyn NY by a Sergeant employee of NYPD. This sergeant assaulted me & pulled out his firearm out on me after he physically assaulted me and held me under arrest after he assaulted me in front of my children outside on a summer day. This Sergeant had just been in a car chase speeding through the streets of Brooklyn NY putting civilians in danger before arriving to where I was, in front of where my mother resides sitting on the stoop with my family. I have suffered greatly due to this physical attack like being prodded on, followed & harassed amongst other things. The sergeant's partner did not want to intervene. When he saw what his boss was doing. The police officer yelled out to the sergeant that had physically assaulted me "I'm not getting in Boss!" In that moment I felt the police officer was doing the honorable thing. But the police officer did not follow through. He did not try to assist me or help me after the sergeant attacked me. And I am still fighting for Justice to this day 9 years later. Every Attorney I have hired has let me down and has filed to be released as my Attorney. Doesn't that sound strange?! I'm in terms of finding a new Attorney now. Do you know how much better our communities would be if we had officers that worked like you...
Instead of abusing their power and violating our rights. I have been through a lot because of this. I am a tax paying citizen I never been in trouble with the law and I deserve to be treated with equality, respect and I deserve Justice. I give the up most respect to Police Officers like you!

Myself and my family as a whole have utmost respect for the rule of law and have never been in trouble with the law or anyone I know personally.
Officer/deputies/agents are appointed to do a job where they can use force to the point of ending a person's life with almost blanket immunity! That being said...
Many in law enforcement feel that if you're not one of them, you're LITTLE people. They also have the belief that it's not their job to follow the law, but to interpret it, how they see fit and enforce the law though that interpretation!
State after state, decade after decade county after county, city after city, year after year, police are caught doing immoral, illegal and corrupt activity doing their jobs (or their private lives). They are supposed to protect us and uphold our constitutional rights yet they seem to violate all those tenants because of that sense of immunity from prosecution.
They're a morally bankrupt sub culture in our society that tends to escape real justice when caught. Why as we, as a society allow this?
If a member of law enforcement is ever convicted of these atrocious violations of our rights, freedom or lives, the laws should be changed. They should have enhancements to their sentences like they do if a citizens harms a cop/deputy or agent. Why are they so special if they are even worse than regular society's criminals. SMH..FTP!

In the last normal year before Covoid, 44 cops were shot and killed and 4 were run over by vehicles and killed in 2019. That same year in 2019 228 cops killed themselves.

How do you reckon? That's highly impractical and would severely skew police representation. What if you live in a densely populated but low crime neighborhood or, conversely, a high crime but sparsely populated neighborhood? Also, what do you mean by "old school"? The police used to do this? When was this a thing?

Gotta ask this question: how many people would obey the laws if there were no enforcement?
2nd question: how are those responsible for enforcing the laws able to do that job without the optional use of force?

Are you doing anything to improve police, citizens relations?
Police might not want to hear from you, because you go against what they're about...but the citizens like myself would love it, if you could get me to stop referring to cops as pigs, because I HATE everything about them
Because of you, I have hope that there can be changes for the betterment of police

I have heard of a lot of predominately Black police departments that don't have this tyoe of problem. Most of them will use the trigger as a last option. They do just what this former cop does.

Not all cases are mental aided situations. Some actually most involve suspects who don’t care to spend the rest of their lives in prison. As for EDPs the average cop on patrol will deal with thousands of them in their career.
