Красиво! Видно, что сделано с душой. Немного смущает остуствие защиты от коробления. Или в данном варианте эту функцию призван обеспечивать каркас подстолья? Отдельное спасибо за музыку👍
Спасибо! вообще каркас как раз и обеспечивает это - там и отверстия продолговатые чтоб не вырвало саморезы при сезонных колебаниях так что должно быть надежно - точно как и царги у деревянного подстолья вполне справляются а тут металл.

That was a master class in hand planing - impressive work. The desk is really nice and "simple". Do you use preconditioner before staining?
Thanks a lot! No, I do not use conditioner - first tung oil with artistic paint and after 2 days pure tung oil and then carnauba wax paste for the last time - I cook everything myself.

Дааа, я тож примерно 27 лет с деревом)) а с видео недавно совсем - оказалось не так сложно, тоже работа по началу капец тяжело было снимать и монтировать, потом привычка выработалась что камера еще один инструмент в мастерской

О, это конечно вопрос большой! да вообще и на телефон хороший можно а если камера то та, у которой есть вход для микрофона. Например любая зеркалка или беззеркалка с входом микрофонным подойдет и нет нужды снимать в 4К а то еще понадобиться комп соответствующий. у меня в прошлом году комп сгорел и пришлось несколько роликов на телефоне монтировать, так что дело не в технике.

I thought from the title, this video was going to be a comparison between a hand planed surface and one which was sanded, but you only seemed to show the results from planing, which are very nice indeed! However, sanding still has its place, even in the finest of work. Sometimes that lovely mirror polish which can be achieved from a well sharpened hand plane (as shown around 7:30) isn't the best surface for absorbing glues or finishes, especially on dense oily woods such as Rosewood, which can be difficult to glue. Scratching the surface with some 120 grit sandpaper to remove the sheen, helps to open up the pores of the wood to let the glues and finishes soak in a bit more for much better adhesion.
