Bless your sweet heart; that's the grit right there that gets you through.They should leave hip-waders with the water cache! Love the sound of the rain on the tent! It’s raining at my place now. How is your tent in the rain, does it get wet inside? I’m not sure about walking through the deep, dark water!😮

No special shoes. We just take extra time throughout the day to let our feet breathe and dry out! -Something very important I have learned since being out
I’m not sure if it’s just the camera angle, but you appear to be putting your legs up above you when you rest? Is that a hiker thing? I’ve never tried that when hiking.

I don't see how parts of that "trail" can even be called a trail. Would it be possible to make those parts more like a trail? Like with boards or bridges or whatever? I'm just asking cause I don't know the answer. More power to you guys for slogging through that slop!
The more i see of this trail , the less likely I'd hike it.. Who wants to hike in a swamp every day? That looks miserable to me.. They need board walks in all those areas..
I'm struggling to see the appeal of hiking this Florida Trail. It really doesn't seem to have a lot to offer in terms of scenery/geography and the wet conditions seem completely miserable in every way.
It’s incredibly beautiful and wild out here! So much to see and everyday is very different! A very diverse and unique ecosystem you won’t find anywhere else in the US! Walking through swamp is a small price to pay to enjoy everything out here!! I might be bias though bc I just really love it out here!

That huge pontoon on wheels is called a swamp buggy. You see them a lot when you go mudding.
