My uncle is 66 and remembers Gerd Muller very well. He often said that his record seemed unreachable and no one will ever come close to 40 goals. We are proud to have a player like Robert and we should all be grateful that we can witness him making history.

I love how Lewandowski respected Gerd Muller by wearing undershirt “4ever Gerd”. He knew he was going to break the record but probably was very modest to acknowledge that Gerd Muller was still forever the record keeper in his era. And I like to think like that too. “4ever Gerd”

@@JarekPOM_drivingschool i should remind u ronaldo was a midfielder at start.....If i ask lewa is excellent in what terms at #9, finishing other than that he is average in all others like pace dribbling passing , meanwhile ronaldo and messi both got finishing as him, and in addition to it they hve different skills like dribbling playmaking pace , im not including all in one bt both hve different skills, and that time team has not better at that position so they were perfect at that, if they were at #9 i bet both would hve alot more goals than they have now, and actually when Ronaldo is now 36 and playing at #9 he isnt bad at all even after so much reduction in his performance meanwhile ,lewa can naver be a winger or midfielder ..... im sorry for comparing lewa with two goats .... they hve no comparison......even if lewa is so good and one of the best right now
