Watch world champion Luca Bertossio literally draw in the sky, in his MDM Fox Aerobatic Glider, while flying a series of thrilling aerobatic manoeuvres, including loops, rolls, spins, stall turns, chandelles and much more during an airshow display at Athens Flying Week 2014! Being a world champion in aerobatic gliding at the surprisingly young age of 25, Luca takes all the possibilities that powerless flight offers to their absolute utmost, converting kinetic energy into a series of mouth-opening manoeuvres we all love to watch.

this is insane ! I am no way near at aerobatic level yet however, the skill and control it would take to do these manoeuvres is ridiculous, I was even blown away by how perfect t the landing was ! this pilot has talent and skill !!

Well, this glider in particular was specifically built for aerobatics.
There are other gliders that can do multiple things including aerobatics,
but there are also gliders, that must not be used for areobatic maneuvers
Fantastic...the avalanche, and the vertical basically topped with a near motionless flat spin.
I saw a glider demo similar to this at OshKosh EAA one year, but I think this one was even better.
Beautiful flying by the glider pilot and really excellent job tracking the glider at varying altitudes with the camera. Tow pilot landed the Maule nose-wheel first - a big no-no.

These are basic manovres all put in to make it look amazing! for example there a spins, high nose stalls steep turns etc. Beautiful!

Accept your opinion, however Luca Bertossio is the first Italian to won 7 FAI Gold medals, 7 Silver and 4 Bronze FAI medals for the glider aerobatics discipline, and the titles of Advanced Vice-World Champion 2011 and Advanced World Champion of Glider’s Aerobatics in the 2012 WAGAC competition championship, World Air Games Champion 2015, Vice-World Games Champion 2017 and 2 Times Vice-World Overall Unlimited Champion 2015 and 2018.
