It was in 1992. Some say he was suspended for only 1 match for contact with the umpire...and given the extra 8 cos the hated Diesel, haha On another note, to this day it's strongly speculated that the suspension cost him an all but guaranteed Brownlow medal.
How bout a video that covers the most ridiculous suspension's handed down by the tribunal...such as Greg Williams 9 game suspension during the 1992 season
What about Phil Carman head butting the boundary umpire and yes it was VFL but if Tony Locketts goal kicking record still stands then so should Carmans suspension
I’m an Eagles fan, yes the Gaff punch was the most disgusting thug punch ever and inexcusable. I didn’t want Gaff in our team after that for a while (it took me a while to forgive him) There is no mention of Barry Halls king hit on Brent Staker (arguably the biggest connected punch in AFL history) because this Kaleen guy for some reason has anti-Eagle bias. I love his team the Swans, but for reason he portrays us as the worst blokes of the 18 clubs. I find that if any footage is pro-West Coast, Kaleen is extremely reluctant to put it in. It angers me because it’s not just a one off, but 95% of anything Eagles related is negative and 5% of the rest neutral. If he adds stuff where my team has screwed up in the past, fine… I agree with addressing that negative stuff, but when I see no positive stuff about my team for fairness… people start to take notice. Out of the 18 AFL teams Kaleen talks about, the Eagles are portrayed in the worst light (even anti-Eagles people would have to concede that)
The biggest suspension is when you call the umpire bad even though they are Proof: Adelaide VS Sydney 2023 Edit: idk what the biggest suspension is but it was just a joke lol
What about Jeremy Cameron's dirty hit on Harris Andrews that got only 5 weeks? Considering his priors and that he tried to argue he was going for the ball - not to mention Andrews was sidelined for a month - the tribunal should've gone harder on him!
Judd's was the most deliberate. To just stand there pulling and bending someone's arm til you dislocate their shoulder is crazy.
I lost a lot of respect for Judd that day. I can't believe his teammates didn't try to end Judd that night
Still makes me ANGRY watching that back. On par with the coward's king hit
He was lucky that someone like Glenn Archer wasn't around..... He would've hospitalised the dog without a care for the consequences.
great editing as usual.
I am one person who can appreciate you sourcing old footage.
good to hear 👍
"Ohh thats vicious! Caven has headbutted Tony Lockett right on the point of the elbow!"
I'm surprised West Coast kept Gaff after the Brayshaw incident.
Swan Barry Hall...suspended for 7 games in 2008.
17 03 2024
Loved it Kaleen, really entertaining!
cheers
Very underrated chanell
1997 … Greg Williams … 9 games for pushing (lightly) an umpire.
But you just cannot touch the umpire

Robbie Muir, Dermott Breteton, Ronnie Andrews. The tough men of 80's footy. Yes you have to protect the head, but i do miss the mongrel.
Jimmy Webster against jy Simpkin Webster got 7 weeks
The Gaff one and aftermath was really hard to watch.
That game at 2:58 was in 2015 round 22, not round 11
hah alright u were right, sundays video was dope
thanks, I try my best
It happened in the reserve's in the mid 80's but was televised.A life ban:th-cam.com/video/SMJkgZ2OpCo/w-d-xo.html

I Wanna See a Part 2 to This as Well
The Steven Baker suspension was ridiculous
How he got 9 and Gaff got 8 is laughable
Barry Hall scott thompson incident should be here
for sure, part 2 if i make it
It’s not AFL without a fight!
Tarryn thomas Joel Smith suspensions
Absolutely love these videos, u are easily my favourite TH-camr
there's always a bloke that ruins the fun.
true
Gaff’s was made worse due to his friendship with the Brayshaw family. You could see how distraught he was, even he couldn’t believe he did it.
gaffs punch was aimed at brayshaws face. Brayshaw barely dropped down and that punch would have hit him in the face anyway.
You forgot Jimmy Webster's sentence
Will do for part 2
Judd had to get at least 8
How come taryn thomas from north Melbourne wasent on this video. He got like 12 weeks so then he got delisted
will have to do next video
What about Phil Carman head butting the boundary umpire and yes it was VFL but if Tony Locketts goal kicking record still stands then so should Carmans suspension
Definitely

No mention of Barry Hall ??
part 2
Gaff hit on brayshaw was a weak dog king hit he should have got more than 8 weeks
Ouch.
Pickett got Rhett Biglands, not James Begley
he got both
Toby Greene is easily the dirtiest player

part 2
What about Barry’s king hit? Toby greene’s karate kick? Come on man, this list is pathetic
Andrew Gaff on Andy Brayshaw was the worst suspension I have ever seen
Boring comments
