Everytime I watch this I think of a story, when we were living in Dundee one day out of the blue the phone rings, I say "hello" and the next voice says hi Jeff its Perry. We talked for a few minutes he told me he was out by the pool waiting for Roselle to fix him lunch. He was truly the greatest person I have ever had the pleasure of knowing, what you see is what you get, he was not only a huge talent but just as nice and sweet as anyone on the street. We miss you Perry, more everyday. Jeff and Linda
An honest man who radiated the love in his soul. A true and beautiful voice. I was a fan at age 4 and followed every record, TV show, and Christmas special. I join everyone who loves him.
Same here James...Saturday nite was the only nite that I could stay up late ...just to watch him....followed him also since I was 4 or 5....pure class!!!
You can just tell the personality of the man by just watching this short clip, what you saw is what you got, we talked with him many times and he was truly the greatest friend my wife and I could have, we miss you so much Perry. Jeff and Linda
Everytime I get to know someone better, celebrity speaking in this case, and learn from and listen to them whom is someone who immediately gets my respect and admiration I always start to worry about them and have to research further and try to find out if they had a good life and were comfortable and had everything that they needed and wanted, especially in their senior and last days. Not that I could really do much about it but still.........And I hope that if they past away that it was in their sleep or otherwise unconcious of it, he seemed like a good soul.
My Aunt Pat swooned over Perry all her life. Her husband kind of resembled him and I know she saw that too and loved it. Perry was a doll even in his 70's.....a gorgeous smile that time could not erase.
My mother wrote him a letter saying what a fan I'd been since I was a boy, and he signed an autograph to me which she gave me one Christmas. It's still a prized item for the warmth and kindness conveyed in their actions, though both are "gone" to the higher place..
Good LORD, if there was ever a "Bromance" born on TV(albeit a one-sided one on Regis' part), this is it! Perry Como should have DECKED Regis for constantly touching him and "petting" Perry's hair!
Perry Como had an amazing voice. Nice to see Regis so surprised at his appearance. Genuine class all around.

One of the greatest singers of 20th Century
There is something endearing about Regis being genuinely delighted to see Perry Como.

I agree fully, no drama around him. He was a talented, kind and decent man, very talented.

Saw Perry Como decades ago at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga Springs, NY. A memorable performance to this day.

Jeff, I feel just like you. Thank you for sharing.
Regis walking around Como's estate is funnier than I'd give him credit for.
He aged so well! 70 something here.
Mr.C boy do we need him now.
You're not whistling Dixie!
I love it!
How funny,, I like Regis but love Perry Como
Great ol Perry. A special person.

ABSOLUTE man crush.

Mr. Como's type of entertainer no longer exists in the mainstream...and we are all the poorer for that.

Omg this is the episode with Eddie Coin? My dad worked construction in the city with Eddie!😂

Mr. C was the greatest.
Who was the luckiest woman in the world? Perry Como's wife.
Good LORD, if there was ever a "Bromance" born on TV(albeit a one-sided one on Regis' part), this is it! Perry Como should have DECKED Regis for constantly touching him and "petting" Perry's hair!
Mr. Como looked so much like Jerry Lewis when he got older.
What about new glasses?😜
What year is this?

@padude64 ......As was Stanislaus Vinton---Bobby Vinton to you.
What year was this?
The year it was originally telecast was 1987.
Hilarious

" I love her.............................." ?!?
Les Subrick gave Perry's business a bad name … the barber business.
*******
Cathy Lee tried so hard to be part of that scene... but she failed. She kept interrupting but without success. Anorexic too?
