I can't believe how many people underrate Beterbiev's boxing ability. Only age, and potentialy knee trouble will stop him touching Bivol. Unless he has aged overnight I believe Bivol will have to show heart, courage, and a chin. Time will tell
Exactly.. This will look like Beterbiev Gvodzyk all over again. Beterbiev hasnt regressed since then.. I think Gvodzyk had more power than Bivol to hold Artur off a bit
Come on Dec...if Joe Smith can hit Bivol with an overhand right and Wobble him and he was hanging on to the ropes to get back to his corner....Do you honestly think he can keep Beterbiev off for 12 rounds and he is sneaky setting traps...I think Bivols got to be perfect for 36 minutes and he's not been that so far ....this Guy is just a Wrecking Machine who is relentless
Bivol barely loses a round most fights. He has hardly put a foot wrong his entire professional career. Bivol has never been knocked down. Beterbiev has been; Beterbiev has been in the wars a few times with lesser opposition than Bivol. And so, in summary: I completely disagree. Beterbiev is a hype-job that is only fighting Bivol for the petro-dollars. He had a better chance years ago when was the right age to bring all his advantages to bear, but ducked Bivol. And, even then based on the Gvozdyk fight: I think Bivol would have won.
@MartinAlexanderEsq Lol....Barely put a foot wrong....he went 12 rounds with Joe Smith and he got hit with an overhand right that had Bivol on queer street staggering back to his corner with the aid of the ropes ..Lol...He was lucky it was at the end of the round....Beterbievs most destructive punch is his overhand right and Joe Smith hasn't got the Boxing IQ or footwork of Beterbiev...if he hits Bivol and wobbles him with that same punch you can guarantee this Wrecking Machine will finish Bivol off....I'd start watching another Sport because it's clearly obvious you don't know anything about Boxing....Lol
Bivol was hit on the bell when he stopped as you should, not Smith Jnrs fault I know! Also, why don't you talk about Beterbiev with his dirty hitting the back of his opponent's heads...EVERY fight!!
Oh yeh, Beterbiev, who hits EVERY opponent on the back of their heads...EVERY fight! Smith clearly hit Bivol after the bell....Beterbiev's hit the canvas twice!
I'm putting money on BETERBIEV! He is an unstoppable force of nature and an immensely intelligent fighter and man. So is Bivol but beterbievv has the apprehend here, absolutely. Those experts say today Bivol is the favorite and they are wrong like most of the times 😊
2:38 . a correction. They never fought somebody like each other in their PRO career. they are both from the soviet eastern block meaning they both have hundreds of amateur fights before turning pro. i think at one point Beterbiev was Bivol's senior and Beterbiev even jokingly mention that they might had fought each other before during one of the press interview. i think this context make their fight even more interesting with the history that they had
Beterbiev winning is certainly better for boxing.Apart from beating an outsized Canelo, Bivol has beaten nobody and has pretty much just waited the division out, to be honest i think a prime Gvosdyk beats Bivol. Beterbiev has taken on and stopped anybody that is willing and has fought till 39. As a fan I think that we need to start giving credit to this kind of approach and ignore fighters who have 'protected' their 0's and just waited to that one big "legacy" building fight (even if they end up winning it).
When Beterbiev fought Oleksandr Gvozdyk, Gvozdyk was 17-0 and the WBC light heavyweight champion of the world. I do not know if Bivol is currently better or worse (or about the same) as what Oleksandr Gvozdyk was at the time. Certainly Oleksandr Gvozdyk was a bigger puncher.
Beterbiev is gunna catch him. I think Bivol will be up on the cards before the stoppage in round 11. I just think Beterbiev's ability to cut of the ring as he does wik catch bivol and land him in. trouble
Bivol’s only chance to win is seriously hurt Beterbiev in the first 4 rounds, Bivol isn’t a light years better boxer than Gvozdyk or Callum Smith, if he doesn’t hurt Beterbiev early then Bivol will get hit, and you get hurt by Beterbiev it’s over
no to agree with beautiful, full head of hair groves, but I've got Beterbiev. I’m seeing a surprise and it’ll be like sunny vs bam, think bivol’s rhythm hasn’t been disrupted like it will be on fight night and all that footwork talk everyone’s on is going to amount to nothing. Beterbiev TKO in the 10th
Beterbiev got knocked down too and also bloodied. Knockdowns do not completely define a boxer. This is a fifty fifty fight. Whomever enforces their style of boxing onto the fight wins. Beterbiev needs to knock out Bivol to win which for him is obviously possible because he can knock people out with either hand and in any round. Bivol trains for every match to fight for 12 entire rounds and to throw an extremely high punch count in order to win by points. That is his style. Beterbiev is 39 years of age, has not fought in over a year, and is coming off major knee surgery and a jaw infection due to dental work. Bivol has fought 190 rounds of professional boxing and Beterbiev has only fought 98 rounds because he never goes into the late rounds. Can Beterbiev continue to fight 12 rounds at a fast pace against a defensive master? Beterbiev does not the credit he should for his great boxing skills. Bivol on the other hand is also a very disciplined boxer. He knows better than to go toe to toe as seen in the Canelo fight. This is a rare matchup in boxing. You can go either way on a pick to win. I pick Bivol to win on a close split decision. The judges selected will be very important. Will they count hard punches over high punch count? I think that simply enjoying the grand matchup should be the order of the day. I will not be disappointed nor surprised if Beterbiev wins. This will be a fight for the ages...
Not since the Canelo fight have I seen so many commenters write off Bivol. They are in for exactly the same shock this weekend. @20:20 - Opetaia is not a 'Brit basher', he IS a Brit. Australia is part of the British Commonwealth. His Majesty the King is literally about to travel to Australia on a Royal visit in his capacity as the Commonwealth of Australia's Head of State. Opetaia is in fact a Pom pummeller (he has not beaten a Scotsman, Welshman, &c). @29:37 - I picked Wardley to win, then thought Clarke won - the first time around. I believe Clarke proved his point in the previous fight; that he can bang and ship punishment as well as box. And so, I suspect that he will box conservatively and comfortably in the rematch to either a convincing points decision or an opportune late stoppage.
Bivol will have a plan , until he gets punched in his face, by Beterbiev. Bivol is no mayweather he gets touched plenty.
They all underestimated Betebiev over all boxing ability . They will see

And Beterbiev has been dropped twice....Bivol hasn't...sooo...
Jeff Page Jr. punches harder/more accurately than Bivol?

Beterbiev! I bet against him when he fought Callum smith but damn he made that look too easy
I won money on that one and won in favour of Beterbiev I've put money on Beterbiev v Bivol in favour of Beterbiev
@@renegade-master29 me too, hoping we both win

Beterbiev, he is fan friendly! You guys ignored his win versus Gvozdyk ( skilled boxer)
Beterbiev win is better, he is going up to fight Jai Opetia next!
Bivol’s only chance to win is seriously hurt Beterbiev in the first 4 rounds, Bivol isn’t a light years better boxer than Gvozdyk or Callum Smith, if he doesn’t hurt Beterbiev early then Bivol will get hit, and you get hurt by Beterbiev it’s over
Beterbiev, jai, clarke, ben, eubank
Bivol to win on points
Yeah it’s a no brainer, he’s far too slick, never been wobbled and is the younger man.
Top pod gents as for the BET….. Loser has to do the next pod naked with Kelly Maloney sat on his knee 👌
Who wins prime golovkin vs prime beterbiev?
Different divisions. GGG is one of the best pressure fighters in history. Hell of a fight.
Eubank Jr should be aiming for Lara if he wants to be a legit world champion
lesson : running did not won you the fight
Bivol has 1 knockout in his last 9/10 fights , he ain’t stopping Artur
No one said he will.
Bivol was getting caught in his last fight against that bum, he’s getting stopped by Artur

Bivol wins.🔥
RJJr lost his speed at age 33. Bivol is 33
To BEAT THE KING, BIVOL HAS TO CROSS THE SEA OF FIRE >>>

He fought this January I think. but I’ve bivol on pts

Opetaia is a Pom Pummerller! as long as no one is offended by the term 'Pom' I agree with your argument Martin! :)
Fact is anabolic steroids weaken connective tissue, this is cumulative over time.
Interesting take
If you honestly believe beterbiev WINS you SHOULD BE WATCHING SOAP OPERAS😂😂😂
Bivol WINS BY KNOCK OUT round 9 onwards TAKE THAT TO THE BANK!!!!!!!!
Beterbiev has beaten english washed up fighters, bivol is different class
