@@jackjamesbitch would have been so much easier to cut off that plug and replace with another.
Showed this video to my father. He is returning his 3D printer and just using super glue an baking powder from now on to do his work. Thanks for saving us money.
Seeing how that guy made a wrench with soda and glue I think I finally found a quick and easy way to copy my neighbors key. Lol
He didn't show it in use though, it might shatter or snap easily
No laugh...it works well..key imprint in too wax or clay....have fun.
LMFAO

I'm always amazed by the many absolutely terrific ways you come up with to use super glue, thanks for all your hard work.
You mean like using it normally???
@@aegisraven1284 Stripped out head of the Phillips head screw repair & fixing the back of an on/off type of switch on our air conditioner has given me about 5 jobs around the house, I have no luck using it normally, even in the early 70's when rubber bumper strips became the fashion on car doors & guards replacing the stainless steel originals?
Just what I needed to fix the cocking latch on my crossbow. =) Kept snapping off with only the glue.. This time I put baking soda inbetween the pieces, then put some on top of the switch piece itself, and then sanded it all down to a slightly larger, but fitting latch, I even added black dye, so you can't even tell unless you look really close. :D

Best tip I have come across in a decade of youtube., thanks
I am 60 now..been using crazy glue and backing soda on repaired since I was 12... Great for sealing the top of shrapnel and bleeding wounds.
Used in Iraq!!
The guy that invented crazy glue told me that was exactly what it was created for.
If you sprayed the blue moulds down with silicone spray like you did with the spanner & bolt, it may come out of blue mould easier
Is the blue mold a playdough?
@@loshiseng1339 yes it is. Used playdough many times for the purpose of making a mold.
I take it this dude's British

I see you got a lot of experience with the soda lines brother xD
Yeah those were a bit too perfect 🤣

My thoughts exactly!
LOLOLOLOL
Spray the clay or playdough mold with oil or hair spray so you can pop it out clean
А как же поэбатсо
Buy a can of spray release agent from tap plastics.
Great video, I wasn't sure what I was going to see. Super helpful and enlightening. Loved the fast-forward playback speed.
Subscribed immediately. I had always thought superglue was on the weak side and needed a thickener. JB weld is my favorite glue for metals and Shoe goo for plastics.
I love JB weld

he made a spanner he already one of the same size, half a peg which are about $0.02, fixed a plug.... that situation has never arisen anyones life and a fan cover for a fan that didn't need one... the best thing from this video was his clean columbian marching powder cutting!
this is a really great idea. thankyou for sharing.
WHOA, that was WAAAY useful.
thanks dude.
Recently I saw a demonstration that used shaved pencil lead instead of Baking Soda. The demo appeared to show the pencil lead worked a lot better. I'd consider trying both to see which one worked best in varying conditions.
Or just get some graphite powder instead of shaving pencils and possibly cutting yourself
Same guy.
What’s the best glue for the job?
That was probably carbon. Pencils aren't made with lead anymore these days.
@@tonyhoyt Any 'super glue' - made from cyanoacrylate.
Awesome, and TH-cam shows me a video about using baking soda on a $1 steak, so naturally, I combined the ideas and now I have a plastic encased, hard yet tender, steak! Yum!

Beautiful video. Music, sounds and skill. Thank you
Been using this since I was a kid and I had to fix my radio control car parts when they would break. It definitely works better than anything else
thanks for confirming this tips...
Does the powder need to be baking soda (sodium bicarbonate)? Or will any powder work, so long as the grain don't break down into dust?
@@DailyBrusher You can also grind something like pasta into a powder.
@@DailyBrusher most facial powders work, even fine particles of sand. But I think baking powder works best

The music piece was very good!
I'd give a like for each trick if I could! beauty!!!
We used to have a guy come to our Home Show in the spring, demonstrating a product called the Last Glue You'll Ever Need. It came with a white powder that made it much more effective. Now I know why. Only problem was, that product was very expensive. This idea is WAY cheaper.
Definitely the stripped screw fix was worth the entire video. I’m gonna use these hacks now as my own idea, and take all the credit. Thanks!! ✌️

For anyone who doesn't already know this baking soda has been used in conjunction with cyanoacrylate for 40+ years. I used to buy "CA KICKER" aka super glue kicker that was essentially liquid baking soda in spray bottle. Put a lot of RC planes together in the 90s with it.
I thought the spray accelerants for CA glue was just alcohol and water....
@@LeeERose nope, i used it in the late 70's early 80's for balsa rc planes ..
The original accelerator in the '70s-'80s had 1,1,1 Trichloroethane and some other light volatiles in it. The EPA didn't like it. I started using Hot Stuff CA in 1976.
Cool , Quick , and easy fix , thanks
That is some amazingly cool stuff
