I always would get kinda sad when they'd die on halo 3 I had a favorite particular 3d model version too for some reason when I was a kid I'd even hit him to remove his helmet cause I thought he looked cooler I was a odd kid lol

Halo 5 did justice with the thruster system. Had it not been for the ground pound, Spartan charge, and bad campagin it would've been the best game in existence. I do like the opening cutsence of Halo 5 tho. With fire team Osiris thruster packing thru the sky. Now THAT was cool
This is how you know its a true Halo game. Try doing something insane and wacky like this in 4 or 5. I was genuinely happy when I was able to squeeze a Warthog into a doorway it was not meant to go and just splatter all the aliens the devs intended me to shoot.
The issue is that unlike the previous games, there is no dynamic storyline... just a semi-interesting open world without any epic movie like storyline.
@@joshuab2437 I don't think that's true. Once you start doing the actual missions it moves along pretty well like a traditional campaign. The open world could have been integrated a little more seamlessly, but I can forgive that as a first attempt. My only real problem with the campaign was the bullet sponge boss battles. They were not executed well at all.
@@bluebomber875 it doesn't need to he a cutscene. Just make them follow the rules of all the other enemies like Halo always has done. The Ultra Elites were always the "bosses" but they were just badass enemies with stronger shields and bigger guns. If you were smart you could still plasma pistol them though. You can't do anything smart or tactical but keep shooting the infinite bosses until they die which is lazy and boring.

@@IPolish1 there is not a skull that reduces gravity, it increases explosive force (there are a lot of things that count as explosive force in this game besides the obvious). There is also one that increases explosive blast size. Combine the two and magic happens.
One thing I wish they did was let you command the Marines. I always tried to set them up with a well positioned warthog turret while I start wrecking all the enemies on foot. But they all stop what they are doing and get out of the truck and I'm like Noooooo!!!!!! And then they run off and get murdered...and then my truck feels lonely...
I actually figured out that if you jump directly over a fusion coil and grapple onto it you won’t get a pickup animation as the coil is supposed to be in-front of you to be picked up so you will start levitating hella fast up to where you hit the boundary I’ve used this technique to pretty much to get to places
I've tried this and have only been able to get boosted up a few more feet not this crazy flying up you are talking about. Did you look forward right after grappling? I'd love to get to do this better myself.
@@TapTapClick I've found if its standing upright as opposed to lying on its side it works better, you also have to hit as close to the center of the "top" square end as possible
I just arm them with Arcane Sentinel beams. They put them in the Razorback 'Party Wagon' and it's death on wheels. They kill everyone by combined sustained shots.

The map itself isn't huge; but, it's not exactly small either. The ability to move around quickly in Infinite makes it feel small; so, I'm hoping they expand it considerably over time.
I'm am constantly impressed at the creativity and sheer creative thinking when coming up with these game hacks, and the speed at which this was discovered impresses me even furthur!!!!...
I took such care around marines at the base. Until I beat the campaign then fancied smacking one with the ban hammer and found out I couldn’t kill them with any of my weapons. The hammers just boop them around quite hilariously. Didn’t try coils and explosive though.
coils and explosives don't work but you can fling objects into them and it will kill them so just get them on the other side of a vehicle and you can splatter them

Except master Chief doesn't use grapples in the books. HE USES A THRUSTER PACK LIKE IN HALO 5. Halo 5 was how they fight in the books. Not the grapple

It's got some space but in reality it's not that big, there's just a a lot of up and down to it.

The map itself isn't huge; but, it's not exactly small either. The ability to move around quickly in Infinite makes it feel small; so, I'm hoping they expand it considerably over time.

I'm am constantly impressed at the creativity and sheer creative thinking when coming up with these game hacks, and the speed at which this was discovered impresses me even furthur!!!!...

I took such care around marines at the base. Until I beat the campaign then fancied smacking one with the ban hammer and found out I couldn’t kill them with any of my weapons. The hammers just boop them around quite hilariously.
Didn’t try coils and explosive though.
When i started and had just 1 marine i called in a warthog and it pancaked him.

coils and explosives don't work but you can fling objects into them and it will kill them so just get them on the other side of a vehicle and you can splatter them

I know all those characters are just NPCs and this a video game but this guy making sure they are safe is just wholesome.
