Since hearing it in Reader's Digest's compilation of "Music for You" (1968) by Eric Robinson, i have heard of nothing close, until this. Bravo. Brought back wonderful childhood memories. I went to a concert in Hong Kong some 10 or 12 yrs ago. I met Sarah back stage. she asked what is my name? I said M......She then said it was easy because her brother has the same name. she autographed her CD for me.
I'm always surprised and delighted to see the range of motion this performance brings to people. I have heard people say, 'Joy! Tears! Tears of Joy!' so often--and it seems to vary with the performer as well. Miss Sarah seems to approach the music from the idea of joy, while Miss Sophie (at least when I saw her do it) evoked such sorrow. Both are beautifully done. Bravo!
