Gandalf-DA-Metalhead actually the same with me, slipknot gave me the wow-effect when i found metal but even though meshuggah has repetitive riffs and all that i will never grow tired of it
the light show is fucked up, i usually hate the light show at live gigs, but it's meshuggah and it's supposed to fuck your brain, so it's ok. fucking makes you paranoid.
god how can the light operator just know when the fuck to start, it's so impressive. like he starts EXACTLY when they start playing, and Meshuggah doesn't backtrack. it's like they're all connected conciously
SN4K3P1T000 I've seen that guy do the light show but I think they did change over to a programmed sequence that follows their live frequencies since their guitars run through a MIDI system
Gotta love the light show in sync with the drums and guitar riffs........................which makes me wonder why there's not more people getting seizures by going to a Meshuggah concert lol!
cant help but smile like an idiot when these guys play live
Their stage presence is so fucking badass. And their light show is the best I've seen.
what's better (in your opinion) meshuggah or slipknot? i ask because of your profile pic
MuffMuff36 Slipknot introduced me to metal but god damn.... a daily dose of Meshuggah is all I need
Gandalf-DA-Metalhead

+Gandalf-DA-Metalhead woow, Slip introduced me too :D Thought I was the only one

probably the tightest band live!!
Right? Every fucking click of the song was 100% in time among the entire band. It was like a machine was playing it.

TheMeatballMen I think they are automated responses... determined frequencies (sounds) trigger determined lights.
hennis yes I was reading about that. I think it used to be done live and now they do some crazy programmed thing. still impressive
Search on youtube ''Meshuggah light guy'' you'll be surprised. I've read he's Tomas' nephew but I'm not sure if the information is correct.
SN4K3P1T000 I've seen that guy do the light show but I think they did change over to a programmed sequence that follows their live frequencies since their guitars run through a MIDI system
The lights are probably programmed to a click track that all the musicians have piped into their ears
Fredriks solos are always something to look forward to live because it's never the album version of it, it's always something new.
Sometimes I wish he stayed with the album version for certain songs. This is one.
I wished he'd stick to the dancers of a discordant system album solo. That is by far my favorite track.
Malcolm Ruff also the solo of violent sleep of reason is so unique soooo...alien hypnotic !!!
He strictly improvises which is honestly so much more refreshing.
Best metal band on the planet. Always have been. Always will be. Forever and ever, amen.
It sounds like every single person in that room is singing along. Awesome.
I think I might shit my pants if I ever see this live.
A meshuggah live show is an experience. You can see it here, like someone else said-they're stage presence and sound is strong and heavy.
the begininng is from 0 to speed of light like ObZen. love it. if you have a hard set ahead in the gym, this is what you need.
this song is every headbanger´s wet dream
Sandro Nascimento polyriythmic headbanging lml
Yep
Not only up-down
More like vibrate-bang
But its still good
My lord these guys crush it live. Such a great light show
AMAZING. Their presence on stage is killer, and the lights guy creates such a great environment!
Holy Fuck this sounds so much better live.
Holy fuck I can't wait to see them in LA. This sounds fabulous
I saw them in Orlando 10/10 and those lucky few going to future shows are in for a religious experience. 15 songs of nothing but teeth!
fantastic. roll on January 18th!!!
absolutely incredible! i just saw them in NJ last night and they DESTROYED!
Jack Broad holy hell man that was an insane show at the Starland ballroom, one of the best I've experienced hands down

Awsome footage fellow ibanezer
I was here, beer in hand, right in front of the sound booth.
MONSTROUS!!!
Remarkable

Gotta love the light show in sync with the drums and guitar riffs........................which makes me wonder why there's not more people getting seizures by going to a Meshuggah concert lol!
Даааа... Эпично! Даже не представляю, что есть хоть кто-то, кто делает подобное шоу!
Those light shows!
I saw them 5 days later. They weren't loud enough was my only complaint.
The opener High on Fire was louder.
Holy fuck! They've opened hell's gates up there
Fuck that’s so clean 😭
dam this is bad assss
most catchy track from meshuggah
2:11 he did a oopsie
Dude, the lights alone!...
Title is Born "in" Dissonance
MunchuMunchu thanks man! Made the change.

Shit! Hansson is incredible!
I almost went to this. I need to get a car..
Who operates the lights? He deserves a couple of free beers
R N the lightning guy is actually the drummers cousin. He is also kinda the sixth member of meshuggah 😉
2019 brothers?
Hey.. I'm seeing MIW, ISSUES, And FIR at the tabernacle tomorrow... how do you get in like the bottom place? like, how early do you have to get there?
