I love the name!! Banana Chopper!! 🍌🍌🍌 I don't normally go with bright colors, but this one I like. I am going to dye another eafengrow yellow soon. (a couple weeks I suppose)

@@JollyPeanut I think you are probably right. Who doesn't love the word "chopper". They use it in motorcycles, helicopters, and knives. Now a banana chopper? That's the Cat's Meow

I like the yellow scales, been liking yellow since I got a Finch Runtly. And the drop is nice, kinda controlled, not like a guillotine.
    Thanks Rusty!

If I remember, I've seen your Finch on Instagram. Nice knife. This one has a good drop

I love it. Reminds me of the Kubey Aiden fixed blade.

You are welcome my friend. I like close up knife reviews too and when I remember, I try to get some nice shots.
I had this knife out last night as a matter of fact. Drops closed, flipper tab does not give the leverage I like, but it works good enough to open the blade.

If you compare the milling design (arrrow or shooting star) on the side of the scale with the Ganzo FH21 you will notice how similar they are. It may be from the same designer or OEM....or one copying the other. I do like the blade shape, but not too crazy about the blacken thumb holes. And of course, will always hate the large "EF" on all their blades, but do like a few of Eafengrow's other designs, especially their higher priced line of knives.

I never thought of that design in the handle, but now that you mentioned it, I agree, they are similar.
I know what you mean about the blackened holes. I do like the fact that It has those holes milled in to it

I like the blade shape. Not crazy about the ovals milled in the top of the blade. Eafengrow does make good solid budget knives. I have several Eafengrow knives and I am happy with all of them. The aesthetics of this one, just not my taste.

Thanks for stopping by and sharing your ideas TD. I understand if this is not your taste, it's probably a love it or hate it type of thing. I like cleavers, but I don't find myself using cleavers much.
You are right about Eafengrow making solid knives. They have improved with each model I have purchased that was newer than the last model. They still have ways to go, but the price is right
