Raphael has footprints in the game. This man has put in much work in the music industry & while well sought after by major artists for his writing, arrangements, production & musicianship, he has never been fully recognized. I see this artist & that artists get recognition on award shows, but I can’t even recall when he’s been adequately publicly honored for his influence on music & that needs to change. He’s a truly talented artist in every sense of the word. I love that he performed at the Fest, but an artist like this brother should never have to say what he’s done, when he’s done so much.

Also, they started the show off with a tribute to all the famous Oakland natives. They even showed Tupac love as if he were born and raised in Oaklan.
