She finds an bright, young man up in the mountains, sitting to take a breather with his Pikauchu, that’s when the protagonist does something to reveal herself watching him from afar. Only for the young man to reach out his hand to help her up. With a clear view, we and the protagonist find it’s none other than Ash Ketchum, the World Champion that’s traveled the world, and beaten every Gym Leader and regional champion, internationally. She asks him for advice in being a trainer, saying “I don’t know where to start first in my journey, I didn’t know who’d give me the best advice except.. the very best, like no one ever was”. Ash smiles and tells her, “Sit. If you have the time, and the spirit for a battle, I think I can point you in the right direction”. This would reflect Red’s rise to the peak as the best, while showing us what Ash has been up to the past few years since we’d last seen him, while also showing just how wise and experienced Ash has gotten.

i remember that one original episode where ash was stuck in a snowy winter hard snowed place and it was getting colder and colder for ash and his pokemon and there was a scene where ash put his pokemon into the pokemon ball so they wont freeze and gives me the same vibe for this
