For the price of this Anniversary addition, you ought to just spend a little more (or possibly less if getting used or refurbished) and get the EXACT same bells and whistles that some of the other models have PLUS a bigger harp space i.e. the 9410 or the 9450 plus you also can get the HP plate to boot. Just my 2 cents.
@@michellegreen8236 yes exactly that’s the reason I asked the question. It’s my first computerized sewing machine. I saw they had them for quilting machines but not for it sewing??? Glad you brought that up I will be interested to see the response.
I just find it interesting how Janome can add HP presser foot and HP needle plate to the new S7AE, but they won't give the older S7 an update to accept the HP presser foot and needle plate. We've wanted this feature but were told it's an older machine with no support for updates. Janome is a RIP OFF. Another money grab by another profit greedy company.
@LMC-jk2yp Machines are constantly being updated. Same thing happened to me when I purchased a 9450. Two months later the 9480 came out. Needless to say I was a bit miffed. Updates are inevitable. All other manufacturers are doing the same. Not exclusive to Janome.
What a beautiful machine. It has everything a sewist needs and wants.
Yes! And with the special add-on kit, you have all the capabilities of the MC9450. :)
Perfect. Maybe a bunch more deco stitches.

when will this come to Norway?
I am waiting to be able to buy this 😅
Yes indeed. I am very happy with my machine. Its name is "Reality".
Its no longer a dream.

We love that you named your machine! Happy Sewing!

Any updates on the S9 coming?
I'm wondering the same thing. Looking for a combo machine so that I don't have to take 2 machines to retreats.
Karyn, not at this time. We love the S9 and hope you do too! It is not discontinued.
Hat die Maschine auch ein deutsches Menü oder nur englisch? Und hat sie auch eine Stickeinheit?
Is there an updated Skyline S9 Anniversary Edition being released? Is the S9 being dropped from the Skyline line.
Hello! The Skyline S9 is not part of the Anniversary Edition series, but is still current and not discontinued.

Money budget.

This is totally off-topic, but I have a Janome 780 DC Sewist can I use a magnetic seam guide with this machine? I can’t find any information online.
Hi! Magnets can affect computerized sewing machines. Janome has always cautioned against the use of magnets on or near a computerized machine.
@@JanomeJAI and yet there are magnets for the larger embroidery hoops and magnetic stitch plates?

You might consider a trade-in if the HP system is very important to you.
you can use the HP-foot on S7. just be careful to put the needle in the correct position
