Greatest post hole digger every. My dad has one also has a puff bit for post holes in solid rock.

How many hydraulic connections does it need to operate? And what do they all do? are hydraulics necessary or will it just work off the PTO? I wish there were more reviews on TH-cam. I hear good things about the auger, just not many “how to” or reviews.
    Thank you!

Depends on what options you have on it. You have to have a least one set for the Auger to go up and down. Mine has a hydraulic top link to level it so another set is needed for that. Also they make a model that has hydraulic cylinder for tilting side to side to make it level so a 3rd set is needed for that. So you need at lease one to run the machine but once you get it level you can unplug them and plug in the auger cylinder if you don’t have enough remote. They are the best you can buy.

Do you have a source for the replaceable auger teeth?

How do you keep the auger from lifting the 3pt arms?

The down pressure from the auger will lift the back wheels of the tractor completely off the ground.

In clay soil the weight of the unit is enough to drill. In solid rock there are two stabilizer arms that lock the 3 points together and it only moves a inch or so.

Lamo, all easy dirt. Put it in black dirt and rock and show us the real deal!

Black dirt ain’t no different then red clay. Rock takes a different bit and is obviously slower but still drills right through it.
