Tina and Cord were my favorite. Andrea leaving broke my heart.

Some sisterly support. In September, during an argument with Clint of Tina and Cord's marriage, Viki said -paraphrasing-that Cord can be too rigid, only sees black and white morally, no grey. Now, she's yet again worshipping at the altar of St.Cord. No wonder Tina said, "Eff, these folks!", post 1997.

So true !!! Yes it took Roger to defend Tina ( ty Roger but sad a man she only knew 9 months ) she did w/ an edge to her said " that son of urs only sees things b&w. In watching 86 when they all just met cord didn't know he was clints , viki was warning him off constantly about her own sister. Whats worse was it wasn't a Megan or Todd deal where she met Megan as a 25 year old who rubbed her the wrong way or Todd who was still a kid in college but understandably didn't like him "at tall!" Lol cause he led a gang rape! Tina she prob knew since she was born as Irene & her were still roommates when she got pregnant & obviously remained dear friends b/c Irene left her still underage teem daugher to her as a guardian. So viki literally was her surrogate mom & b4 that she called an aunt. She also loved & played w/ baby Kevin. Viki Def was a mom to her as she faced down a dangerous pimp first defending friend Karen & when Marco got mad about it superimposed teen Tina's head on naked bodies to extort viki which she was going to pay the 50k in blackmail. It's so strange to me given that history that viki suddenly loathed Tina. I mean she knew her ! Again helped raise her. Suddenly she the devil ? Viki blamed Tina for the sins of her 2 dad's her adopted one in Ted Clayton & she went bat$hit when she went into serious denial & mental illness that " father " sired Tina w/ her 19 year old roommate. Be mad at ur dad not the child who had no say on her conception. I was glad at least in the heaven story these points were brought up by Victor & moreso by Irene. Viki did seem to turn over a new leaf about tina after her heaven experience but here we go again
Lastly I loved cord when he was just the young exuberant kid who fell head over heels for Tina in El paso. He got to llainview & he started to become a self righteous jerk.

Viki was horrible to Tina. I thought after heaven when Irene & even mitch from hell defended Tina viki decided to finally be a sister unconditionally to Tina. That didn't last. I'm glad when max went through his gambling addiction he constantly called cord on his perfection to the rest of the mere mortals. I also loved when max Said" " Tina couldn't live up to your lofty standards that's why she landed in my bed" go max

Tina was right. Debra was after Cord and he tried to make Tina accept him being friends with her and hanging around all the time. He wouldn't have liked if the tables were turned and Tina had a male friend. As soon as Tina left , him and Debra started going together. Vicky should realize Debra is like her mother and they are playing the same game

Tina genuinely cares about Viki & Clint’s marriage working out. After Viki was so unsupportive to Tina in this episode Tina still was empathetic to Viki in regards to her marital issues .
Sadly Viki could care less if Tina’s marriage survives.
She has historically been very unsupportive of Tina when she has been at her rock bottom I’m getting flashbacks of Tina running to courthouse Feb 87 looking for any life line from her sister Viki when Cord wanted nothing to do with her & she had just found herself pregnant Viki again was very hurtful & completely disregarded Tina who begged her at the time to give her time for her to get support/advice. If memory serves me right that was actually the last straw for Tina & she left for Argentina with Max bc no one was supporting her back then & same thing now they are all running her out of town with their complete disregard & disrespect of her. I truly feel bad for Tina

All Tina wanted was love from everyone around her...that's not really not a whole lot to ask...love and understanding...and a little patience.
In all these years of videos I seen on here, Viki really did have a lot of flaws and did not have the "pureness" that those around her believe or watch her. She may have been likable as far back as the 70's but by Paul Rauch era, they made her very shrewd. That's why I always found myself voting for Dorian, because Dorian did NOT take " Queen Victoria's" BS lying down...she would retaliate...and she'd fire back...she did what she had to do and must be done... regardless of whether ppl believed right or wrong...Viki needed to see that life does not revolve her and she isn't "Dr. Phil"...another well known hyp...if I know what I mean...when it all came down to it...Viki defended who she wanted too only but she was downright horrible Tina and Dorian..
Viki's problems should have been with her perverted father and that "friend" of hers that created Todd, Tina and Victor J. But Victor was widowed at the tine and it would have only been illegal if she was underage...she was in college...therefore it was not illegal.
So I came to the conclusion that Viki in her twerped mind believed she was Victors wife not daughter mind you ...and after that whole story I kinda looked at her in a different way and I was very sickened by it all....so yeah Tina and Dorian are not all that awful as they seem...and Viki's definitely not sainted.

@@paulmartin7705 regardless of her memory issues Tina at the time was begging Viki to give her a moment for her to talk to her Viki could have cared less. Then I remember Tina running out of courthouse I believe Viki & Clint were in process of divorce & he was trying to get emergency full custody of children Tina was on cusp of running off with Max to Argentina, Cord had completely ignored Tina & wanted nothing to do with her & was flaunting his new relationship with Kate. Tina was desperate & ran to the last person she thought she could confide in Viki but Viki completely refused to even give her a second of her time bc she was again too self absorbed & caught up in another one of her fiascos. To me Viki was far from innocent in fact she is a lot like Cord with not having boundaries with opposite sex while married. They both have patterns of that kind of behavior. Say what ppl want about Tina but unlike Viki she has never done that to Cord only with Cain & that’s bc she thought he was dead in Jaba.

I wish that there was a character in this show- or any soap, for that matter- who doesn't feel the need to dump exposition, doesn't explain their feelings constantly, has goals and works toward them organically, and had some moment in the series that shows their growth as a character before they leave the show. I've been watching these since January 2022, and I have yet to find a character that I like, becaue they're pretty much all the same. "Remember this? Remember that? I feel like... You know ever since... I'm so sad..." How about you convey it VISUALLY? Why am I still ranting about a soap on the internet...

@@paulmartin7705 very common misconception. They are both called carriage houses. Although in the 80s it was called the garage apartment that Mary Lynn and Wade lived in on landfair property. Before that Jenny Rinaldi live there and david. Then after that it was David Vickers and then Viki's boys live there for a long time in the 90s. Then Natalie briefly. Then Rex and Gigi lived there for a while before they moved into Asas. But that's not the place I was talking about.
In the '70s when Viki remarried Joe Riley Victor gave them a little house close to Llanfair, not on the property, called The Riley Carriage House. Viki lived there until her wedding to Clint in 82. Becky Lee lived there with her for a while and Stayed till she married Asa I assume. And then I don't think you saw it again. This just looks familiar to that set. Could be the same set redressed.
