the only problem with general welfare, ODSP, and minimum wage increases by 2% usually leads to a 5 - 7% in the cost of living - i have experienced this throughout my adult life since i first starting working full time in 1974 -it is not the increasing of the money available to those that are struggling due to finances - we need price controls that are ACCEPTABLE to EVERY Canadian and for those that are better off to share more with the less fortunate - and i do not mean to steal from them, as with everyone else. but to encourage them to share their wealth - not take it from them but give them incentives to assist others

Trudeau is such a liar. As a senior I can say from experience that the carbon tax rebate is a joke. Trudeau is out of touch with reality if he believes that his carbon tax rebate helps with living expenses. $140.00 every three months is $11.67 a week. Getting less than $12.00 a week doesn't even put a dent in the cost of groceries, gas, medication, and other daily expenses. As for the new dental plan coverage seniors were only allowed to apply as of the first of this month for said dental plan. The whole process to be ACCEPTED into the program takes almost 2 months if you don't have a computer. Most seniors don't have computers by the way. They can't afford the internet service. I also learned that dentists are not required to be a part of the dental plan program. So some people might have to change dentists. I question Trudeaus statistics about how much of the senior population is actually enjoying the benefits of this new dental plan. Trudeau is a liar and needs to go.
