    Forgot to mention that they weren't on a survival show per se. It was a documentary showing how XG were formed from the beginning and showed their training process. There were a certain amount of girls that would be let go during the 5 yr training period until Simon decided on who he wanted. Of course some people weren't going to move on during training and I guess that could be seen as hard but I'm not sure why someone told Kerry the show was brutal. Maybe because the training period was hard like anything you're training to do? I'm not sure lol

    I would really love to see u guys dig deeper into XG and check out some of their behind the scenes content, they are so fun and have so much creative freedom which is quite rare in this industry. I would recommend Extra XG 46 it's good and show u how involved they are with stuff, now that u mentioned tattoo Chisa actually got a neck tattoo pretty recently it's so cool to see they are allowed to be themself and don't have to follow the idol beauty standards, i feel like they are paving a new positive path in the Idol industry

    I really love this group so much so I appreciate you checking them out every week. There's a lot of good behind the scenes of XG. I really recommend the guide before you watch anything else just to get insight into their personalities first. Idk if you're aware but they communicate with each other speaking their first language Japanese and Maya is the only one who is completely fluent in english. She went to Seisen international school so she speaks english a lot. Oh and not that it's a big deal but one that may surprise you a little is that Harvey is part Japanese and part Caucasian - her paternal side is Australian and Hinata is part Japanese and part Korean. All the girls speak not only Japanese of course, but english on different levels and Korean.

    The one thing I would recommend to watch is the reality show they were in last year called “3 meals a day”, you will really see their personalities shine. I promise you would be laughing the whole time and your cheeks will sore since you will be smiling the whole time too!! 😂😂. I don't know if you have known they are on tour, they just finish the US part of the tour,next stop EU all of November!!!

    You could do a guide, there's a really good "helpful guide to xg 2024" one. For a true variety series you have "3 meals a day" and "XG or go" they were also on Weekly Idol and Idol League too which there are subbed videos for!

    Some of my favourite XG content would be XG DAYS. Unlike XTRA XG where it's the BTS of their working days, XG DAYS focuses on their off days where you see more of their other interests and activities outside of music and just spend time with them on their travels.

    Yay Xgee in the AFTR hiz-ouz! 😂 Nah seriously though, glad you finally got to this one it being the mv showing the group how they actually are when they're not being badasses on stage. They're fun and crack me up constantly but their work ethic is no joke. I am bummed that it's almost over for the mvs though but there are lots of non mv content. I made playlists which were accepted from me on discord so maybe you guys will react to some of those one day.
    Hinata really isn't that weird or crazy 😂 She like Cocona mostly observe the madness but they do get suckered into the chaotic antics. I would compare her to Taemin but without the mischievous side that Taemin has lmao Maybe Taemin is a bad comparison. She's like Kai off stage. There we go 😂 Anyway, I look forward to seeing you get to know them, they're entertaining to watch for sure.
    Also Maya 🔥🔥🔥 This was the mv I decided she was definitely my bias. She can do it all and she's a nutball like me. Wait nutball sounds weird but whatever. Thanks for the reaction Kermonnie 😊

    my fav XTRA XG(Behind the scenes etc...) #16, #21, #22, #25, #26, #28, #31, #35, #37, #44-45-46-47-48 and XG Documentary Series ‘XTRA XTRA’ EPXX-X∞(this serie beginning of XG Total 9 ep.) Actually, I want you to watch all XTRA XG,XGDAYS and XG Documentary series. you can see the continuous development and growth of XG.🙏
    They started from scratch. The production company, the artists, the writers, everyone involved, what they've accomplished in 2.5 years since debut is absolutely astonishing.
    I think once they complete their tours in US and EU so many more doors will open up and really become global superstars.🐺👽

    They will be in Europe, November for their first world tour. If you are able too, I highly highly recommend you check them out. They were amazing live.
    As for content, Xtra XG (behind the scenes) and XG Days (them on days off) are awesome. XG Days is some of my favorite content.
    The XTRA XTRA Documentary is really worth a watch. You gain a different level of respect and appreciation for them and their craft.. It can be a bit rough at times, but it's a documentary of how they trained and fought to become the XG we know. Not really a survival show.

    Omg these girls are so funny, chaotic and loud and that's courtesy of Maya 😂 They really are a lot of fun. Idk if I sent in a recommendation but I think I did? Haha I don't want to send it again if I already did but it's called 'XG Struggling for 9 minutes' and that's a good one that will give you some insight into their goofiness and I know this is a long guide but this one th-cam.com/video/htt3SI4Bpoc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=PHH8IohxcvBx5Yjv
    covers each member one by one and I think it will give you a bit of insight into each member. Chisa is the group's comedian but Maya though 😂😂😂 She is too much! XG reminds me of how WayV are when they're together. Thanks for this. You have one more mv but that's a winter holiday one but I'm going to be sad seeing your XG mv content come to an end. Wait a minute, they have a comeback next month 😊

  • @jc7tri
    @jc7tri 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +11

    Chisa is a goofball just like Maya, but when the mic is on, the lights are lit they transform into their alien forms. Btw, they are going to be in Manchester next month 😂

    it really is crazy to see how talented these girls are. Loved the little rant towards the end of the MV about the development of the group and how they're using the individual members now vs. back then

    I find it so interesting how Simon sees XG's evolution because I don't see it that strongly in terms of their music. Like the Cyphers were done before most of their mvs so we got a view of how much of the rap line are badashes between the cypher and their mixed tapes (that I hope you check out). So we knew that before more of their poppy stuff like Mascara, Puppet Show, TGIF etc etc. New Dance came after GRL GVNG and Woke Up came before Something Ain't Right and IYKYK, so I really am not seeing the big change in music through Simon's lens but they have changed a lot visually. Like soooo much constantly 😂

    No unfortunately the end of this mv doesn't directly connect to another mv. Thank you for reacting to XG.
    Not sure if you're officially an XG fan but their comeback is on the 8th so hopefully this will be your first XG comeback 😊

    XG has had an incredible journey. Without the initial auditions held in Japan and AVEX’s decision to move forward with the XGALX project in Korea, Simon might never have been chosen as their producer. Having worked with AVEX before, Simon was the perfect fit to lead XG. Without this first step, the XG project might not have gone any further. Just imagine! 😉

    • @OliviaXmasEve1224
      @OliviaXmasEve1224 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      He's more than just their producer though. He's XGALX CEO, he chose the members ultimately, he's their manager, music director, surrogate big brother slash dad more.... like XG is his vision 🙂

    • @knkweb
      @knkweb 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@OliviaXmasEve1224Simon was appointed CEO and producer of XGALX, a subsidiary of AVEX, but this vision wasn’t his alone. AVEX’s new CEO, Katsumi Kuroiwa, expressed in an interview his passion for creating a global XG group. Originally established in Japan, the XG project brought together artists trained in Japan, all personally selected by Simon when he took the lead.

    • @box-X-G
      @box-X-G 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@knkweb After Simon selected all members in Japan, they taken them to Korea for promotional lanuchpad and training. Simon worked at AVEX in the past, so he is familiar with their production work.

    • @box-X-G
      @box-X-G 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@OliviaXmasEve1224 Just to clarify, Simon is indeed the CEO of XGALX, appointed by AVEX. AVEX’s new CEO, Kasumi Kuroiwa, oversees much of the operations and closely monitors XGALX activities, as XGALX remains a subsidiary of AVEX.--- One person’s power is limited-Simon couldn’t have established the XGALX project on his own. X-Galaxy/XGALX is labeled and owned by AVEX and was later brought to Korea as a promotional launchpad. In an interview, Simon thanked the AVEX team for their role in preparing and training the members. During XG’s Apple interview, they showed where they rest, rehearse, and are catered to both in Japan and Korea. Japanese and Korean crew worked together to support and grow the XG project. Although AVEX is a Japanese entertainment company, they actively support both JPOP and KPOP artists.

      @OliviaXmasEve1224 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @knkweb Of course it wasn't his vision alone but the directions this group has gone is definitely Simon's vision imo His name is attached to basically everything they do
