its really smart how hes set things up, like a TCG store where he buys directly from distributors but hes not under the normal cash flow pressure, to sell product to make room on the shelves or for financial year tax purposes etc and hes got an outlet to sell via patreon and his networking with other stores and whales. i think he has a financial trading background but i bet what he does these days is just as hard and stressful. guys entertaining too even if you have no interest in magic the gathering.
I'm a big MTG fan! But agree, he's set himself up nicely. No financial pressure to move inventory to buy more, he has the luxury to sit on it. And can easily move it with his connections when suits!
I buy singles of my PC baseball players only. They are not the hyped up players and their prices are currently give away prices. Great time in the modern baseball Card market.
exactly how did he beat pokemon? if anything pokemon beat him when he tossed his collection into the bathroom. lol he jumps bandwagons a lot. he knew nothing about Pokemon and decided to jump in it because he realized it was better than his Magic. you dont realize a lot of people in the Magic community years ago looked down on Pokemon but now you can see so many of them crossing over it can make you laugh how quickly they switched sides.
Idk if you're joking but he doesn't store that stuff in his house. On this level I believe he said he has several warehouses or buildings for storage, all with security and controlled conditions. I would imagine he has proper insurance for everything too lol
