i love how though u didn’t love wild love, you were still nice, but yeah i definitely agree with you. wild love definitely didn't live up to the hype for me either and seeing those 5 and 6-star ratings on booktok was surprising. A 3-star rating seems fair, but anything higher feels a bit generous for this one. but i couldn’t stop laughing when u were trying to list things you liked. It’s okay if u hate a book. also i the way i am slowly going to take my dark Vanessa off my tbr, i got teary eyes w/ just ur explanation i don’t know if my mental health is ready for it.
I completely agree. I love Elsie Silver more than the next person, just not this book sadly. Her next one I’m sure I’ll love. 🤞🏾But “my dark vanessa” if you’re not ready for it, do not read it. I’m still trying to get some scene out of my mind, its worst if you’re a visual reader which unfortunately for me i am and some scenes I still can’t get out of my head.

I want to read dark Vanessa as well and I think I’ll have to pick up and put it down read it bit by bit bc I know when I saw the r Kelly Netflix thing it ruined my mental headspace for days and this sounds like it’ll be in that same category 😢 but it’s important so I’ll give it a go at some point thx for trying to mentally prepare us
You know what I originally rated wild love a 5 stars, but now I realize I can't remember anything about it. 😮I think my love for Elsie Silver and the general hype made me feel like I had to love it too. Looking back, I can't recall a single detail, it didn't leave a lasting impression on me.
