Nah, you are spot on about Iron Flame. That book could have been 200 pages shorter. The crazy part is that Violet was upset and kept arguing with Xedan about the same thing she was doing to her friends, lol. Like, girl talk about double standards, sigh. I read the first two books in the Mead Mishaps series. I had a time and can't wait to read That Time I Got Drunk and Saved a Human.
