Sir you make some awesome repairs , please make a how to repair on one of the decent size damages so I can try and repair my subwoofer with the same poly finish. Really appreciate it 🙏🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Great Video. I am looking into getting into repair work. I know polyester can be in very short demand, along with several other types of finish. It seems the trade is not being passed down. I love the meticulousness of the craft. Any and all information helps just to understand how different chemicals and bonding agents work with one another.
All your videos have been super interesting to someone who recently purchased a Yamaha G5 made in Japan in 1967. It needs some finish work for sure so any videos you make prepping and spraying lacquer would be helpful. Please consider doing voice overs. Your insight is very valuable. Thanks!
Hi there! That’s normal. Get a buffing rake and either stand on it or clamp it firmly to a table. You’ll need to clean the wheel with the rake periodically.
Great job Jacob what chemical in the tin did you use for wiping after sanding…and what was the buffing soap you used with the big buffing wheel. Many thanks

Watching the timelapse with your narration in the audio is quite therapeutic.

You are so amazing. This is more than impressive,
Good informative video….well done! Thanks.
What sander and polisher are you using? Thank you. Great work
Mirka and Makita
Interesting to watch. How long dit the whole job take you?
Thanks! A couple days.
Question for you: I just obtained a flap wheel and it has a myriad of threads flying out of it. Will that eventually dissipate with use?

What type of buffer and pad is that? What polish do you use with it? Seems like a solid vs a liquid?
Hi there, it’s 4 half inch thick 10 inch canton flannel wheels. Gw16 compound. Go to alliedpiano.com for more info.
For what its worth, I prefer the narration. Just saying...
Great job Jacob

At the very beginning of the video? Acetone. While wet sanding with the higher grits, soapy water.
Menzerna gw16 compound.
