Ewan does have a contract with jayco for 2025, however Jayco believe he broke his contract when he agreed to join Astana who then reneged on the deal..
It depends on the price - really. If he will take a discount on base, take him, but make it a pretty incentive based contract on good results. Pay him very well if he performs well. Then be a little generous and let him pick his own trainer and give him whatever schedule he wants. He’s at the point where the development is done, he needs a coach that knows how to take a peak sprinter and hit the fresh button a bit. The GC coaching staff isn’t going to do that. He can be a sponsors dream at the lower ranked races and let him have a Tour slot. They don’t have anyone competitive otherwise. If he gets a tour podium on a stage that’s enough.
Idk Ineos cannot go toward Caleb Ineos needs to go young and they cant drag him around this years tour events. Another team could use him though fer sure
Why did Astana pull the pin. Basically he’s been left in no man’s land, this stuff goes on all the time. It was his decision to play those cards and basically he’s been left out in the cold. He still has talent but needs a team/ coach that can harness that. I think it’s better to have him in a team than just sitting on the sidelines.
Cycling Dane... We miss your live broadcast... ☕☕ from a crazy Eritrean 😊😊😊
Coming dont worry :)
