Casing should be flushed out with water. Add 1/4 tsp baking soda to soaking water. This helps untwist the casings and slide on horn easier. Should be able to put 50-75 feet of casing on horn in 30 seconds. Your doing it the hard way.
Rinse with clean water, and store in clean water. I personally add in about 1/4th of a cup of salt, store in the fridge in a clean container. Just rinse them off again the next time you need them, refresh the water, add more salt.
It can definitely be a pain, and sometimes there are just some packages of casing that are more of a pain than others. Maybe try a fresh package and see if that makes any difference!

I’m having major trouble. Taking way way too long to get the casings on the tube. 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
