What would get more range these or the mad wheelz?
I have been rocking a set of these for almost 6 weeks and I am super impressed with them.
Confidence inspiring is a really good way to describe them for sure.
I have had other large street wheels and it can be hard to predict how they will grip up again once pushed to break traction. Sometimes they would not grip up at all and simply shoot out from under you leaving you to eat pavement.
Haven't had that happen a single time on the Dad Bods. They always grip back up when things get sketchy and leave you grinning from ear to ear.

Nice vid, its very tempting to give these wheels a shot, heard nothing but good things about em. Favorite part of vid was learning about the sliding aspect (awesome footage of how different wheels behave when you slide em.) 👍🤙

107s are probably my favorite wheels right now. I also like the 97mm from the Evolve, but they are less comfortable. I think the Mad 105's are great, but compared to the 107s they have less free roll and less "bouncines". Could you please compare Dad Bods to 107s? Thanks!
the biggest disadvantage of the 107s is their weight :(

Hey Fred. I think this is your best review ever !! You've completely nailed it in this one. You've managed to describe the feelings I could not about these wheels. I like your comment about the carve and feel of street wheels vs AT's. I use AT's in winter as they are safer in the cold and wet. But I always look forward to summer and getting my street wheels back on. Sometimes the ride is rough but it's that feeling of a connection with the road/path that's just hard to beat.

I agree ppl need to open up more to the street wheel vibe. But more choose comfort. Speed as well 🤌. It's not everything. Awesome detailed video and nice you put out the importance of the duro not only sliding wise -> no chunking 🤌🔥🔥🤙

Im considering getting the 105mm mad wheels but they told me yesterday that they release a new version of there wheels in summer.

Since the core is off-center why can't you just use the other side of the core to push in the gear drive adapter? Core is way closer and I bet the prongs amd axel will reach.

What size pulley and belt should I get to mount these on an Exway flex Pro??
i believe exway uses there own pullies cuz there bearing hole is much larger than other boards. so ud have to order the 10 prong kegals from them. and i think its 36t

What was the range like with the 40t pulleys? Asking because i'm interested in the setup but don't need the topspeed :)
pullies don’t affect ur range. only if u capitalize what they r for. meaning 40T is better acceleration, so if u constantly accelerate hard, you u kill ur range. same with small pullies mixed with a lot of top speed . 🤘🏼

Thanks for the review. the 105 mad wheels have been go to but are going to have give them a try. Do you think those Onsra TKPs would fit on a carbon deck like the Zeus/Pro? Tempted to pick up a set and black out my Zeus Pro and put the oil slick TKPs on my bustin sportster build.

Fred, I got my first board and I'm thrilled with it, thanks for steering me right with the Titan X! I got the 150mm AT and the 120mm cloudwheels with it. Watching your videos you seem to love the 85mm 80A and these wheels. I would prefer a little more safety and comfort being fairly new to this, so would you recommend these wheels for my next set of wheels to dip further into a more true street wheel?
Another question for you, what tooth gear would I want for these? Use the same one I have for the 120mm cloudwheels, or would the gearing be too low?
