i think he rests peacefully and happily knowing his heart and soul lives on in his music and continues to soften hearts and brighten days long after his mortal veil was lifted :)

Unfortunately, I found his music after he passed. This makes me cry today in the situation we are in here in the United States. Blame, blame is the way of the world now, breathing causes global warming, blame the rich, or somebody who has actually did something with their lives, blame the poor, blame somebody who cares about something that you don't agree with. Look in the mirror. It all starts with you.....

The Stronghold brought me here. WoW, I never knew something special like this existed until I watched The Stronghold. It felt like I was in heaven listening to that song.
I'm probably headed to the hospital tomorrow or day after. My sickness isn't getting better (not Covid). Finding Charles Bradley is helping me through the stress right now. I don't feel so scared and alone and down about it. My illness is just part of the world being upside down right now.

I only had one chance to see them both live when they toured through my hometown of Buffalo, NY years ago and it is still one of the greatest shows I have EVER been to. The artists, the bands, all of them were AMAZING! It was incredible, I was awestruck, and getting to meet Mr. Bradley and Ms. Jones, talk with them, and get them to autograph my albums was such an experience that left an indelible impression on me.
Why am I just now hear about this artist? Was I living under a rock. That sound ... wow.

I was fortunate enough to see Charles open for Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings just after this was released in early 2011 at the Town Ballroom in Buffalo NY. Still one of the greatest shows I've ever seen. Charles is a reminder that it's never too late to achieve some dreams. RIP Charles, and Sharon
