Wilderness Triathlon! MTB, Kayak, Hike ... in the quest for a native Brooke Trout of the SMOKIES!

They say "it's not the destination, but the journey." And it could not be more true on this quest for a native Brooke trout in the Smoky Mountains. Is it necessary to do a 10 mile mountain bike recon just to see the fishery for the next day? ... is it necessary to kayak 5 miles just to find an unpressured river? No ... but it's so fun! And yes! I got that wild Brooke Trout, plus a few more:)))
But more importantly, I got that experience ... We all need to unplug...! We need to appreciate the Grace of our Creator and the shear beauty that in the natural world.
And then, just breathe!
