  • After a solid eight days of adventuring from the very South of the Kruger National Park, to the very tip in the North Eastern corner, my time in the Park has come to an end. I check out of Punda Maria for a short morning self-drive safari, before leaving the Park, full of gratitude for my time there once again, and contemplating my next adventure.
Come join us for the ride, and if you enjoy the content, please give it a thumbs up, and subscribe to the channel. You’ll get notified of new episodes and new adventures that we undertake.

Fantastic Series…with all this wonderful places! I visited the park in 2017. But only for 3 days and only in the southern part. The north looks so wonderful, I’ll be back and than I will visit the northern part! Thank you for this great series! Greetings from Germany, Bjoern

Thanks Bjoern - glad to have you along for the ride ;-) and appreciate the feedback. Yes, the North is definitely worth spending some time in - bigger trees, different landscape...beautiful. Hope to see you back in Kruger soon.

My hubby and I have watched all 9 of the episodes( back to back today) of your latest adventure. Thats one of the joys of being retired. lol. We have enjoyed your video's so much. Fantastic work, love the music too. So many of the places were familiar to us and we are counting down the days, it's 78, until we return to KNP. As soon as the UK got rid of it's red list we booked flights and our accommodation in the park. We will be going from South to North and back down again during our 22 day stay!!! Can't wait and your videos have made us want to be there even more. Thanks for sharing.

Fantastic to hear Redrose 59. Thanks for the feedback and happy to know that my adventures have ‘stoked the fire’ in others to get out there too and visit such amazing places as KNP. Enjoy the trip!

Thank you so much for sharing your experiences. I love KNP. It is always sad when you have to leave. I can't wait to see it again and be there myself.

We have just watched the last 3 episodes back to back and thoroughly enjoyed them from start to sadly coming to the end of your adventure but what memories you have captured and shared. How was your tent in Punda Maria? We have read that some people have found them to be in need of some repairs but we wondered how you found them. It looked like the board walk had been repaired in places. Thanks again for taking the time and effort to share this trip with us. The quality of the video from your new camera set up has taken your adventure to another level. Take care. Karl & Alison

Hey Karl - the tents were not in the greatest of shape to be honest. It was comfortable and everything was working as expected, but you could see the tear on the tarpaulin and one or two or the wooden guard rails needed repair. As I spend the whole day out exploring, I only really used the tent for sleeping. First night I had a little braai - second night I went up to the little (very quaint and pleasant) restaurant.
I’m glad you enjoyed the series. I’m hoping to get up to the park again for a weekend in the coming few weeks.

Nice video sir, once caught up with Leopard trying to attack an warthog on Punda Maria Road H1 - 8, can I ask something what are the check in time and Check out time at the Kruger National Park Camps ?

Thanks Asa. Wow - that leopard sighting must have been something hey…
The checkin times is 2pm, although in quieter periods, you can often get away with checkin from around 1pm. Some camps will not do it but others figure that the room is ready and are happy to hand over the keys. As for checkout - I think it’s 10am latest, but I’ve always left early when checking out and I just leave my keys in the postbox at each exit gate. 👍🏼
