@Panagiotis Papadakos No, you can't. If you take subjective global commercial appeal, Italians win. Everybody has heard about pizza and pasta, less people have heard about Souvlaki or Papoutsakia. That doesn't mean that Pizza is better than Moussaka. I love both equally

Let us say that Greeks have more manners and respect than to bore us bragging about how great Greek cooking is. My first husband was Italian, as I am. He and his mother BORED THE HELL OUT OF THE FAMILY WITH THEIR EVER LASTING BRAGGING ABOUT HOW GREAT ITALIAN FOOD IS. Well becausecof my food allergies, I was allergic to flour and my throat would close up with a laryngospasm. No air was getting in or out. I needed an epi pen! My cousins are Greek. It is delicious. Both Italians and Greek have certain similarities especially southern (Sicilian ( and greek--lamb, garlic, lemon, eggplant, etc. The healthiest option for me is my second husband's cuisine. He comes from Sweden and the ingredients are basic and healthy. I have lost weight because we eat so much fish. One thing I appreciate is that Swedes are quiet, respectful and have enough BRAINS NOT TO PUSH THEIR COOKING DOWN YOUR THROAT. THEY ARE A LOT QUIETER THAN ITALIANS. EVERYBODY HAS A RIGHT TO EAT WHAT TGRY LIKE WITHOUT ARGUMENTATIVE PEOPLE TURNING THE DINING ROOM TABLE INTO A BATTLE ZONE EXPECTING EVERYBODY TO WORSHIP THE CHEF'S CULINARY SKILLS, --OR LACK OF THEM. That is my Italian mother. SHE IS SO NARCISSTIC SHE DEMANDS PRAISE FOR cooking nobody wants cause they prefer American food

As a Greek I love both. And it is very hard to say one is better than the other. From Spain to Greece the cuisine comes with the culture and climate. But even if Greeks invented pizza, as some say, Italian perfected it. Italian pasta especially from various regions of Italy is amazing. The style and presentation is beautiful. IDK I think it is silly to say one is better than another other. There are so many flavours in the world.

I used to love Gordon Ramsay but honestly I've lost my respect for most of these celebrity chefs. Same thing happened with Gordon after watching him mess up pegao, ramen and huevos rancheros (and probably more).
I don't expect every single chef to be great at every cuisine. That's impossible. But they should be respectful of EVERY cuisine! They shouldn't spread misinformation. You can't just slap a name on a random recipe. And if it wasn't for channels like your own, I would never even know how wrong they are! That's my beef with most of them.
