Definitely my favorite for sure!! 🤘😝 I've been blasting this album ever since 1996, when it was released and I was just 16 yrs old! Thanks to *Ministry* for the decades of great music.
Released in '96 but still listened to almost religiously today. Filth Pig and Psalm69 are definitely my favourite Ministry albums but they just keep sending out epic music. Everything uncle Al does is gold. Having Manson's quote at the end here fit perfectly considering his words. Scarecrow will always be one of my most loved songs though. "Laughter fills the sky instead of rain".
Rock Addict - ‘the mind is a terrible thing to taste’ has some earlier great songs, and ‘dark side of the spoon’ is more like this album (filth pig), also have to mention ‘psalm 69’ which was prob. the biggest mainstream success back in the early 90s, and got a lot of people into ministry.
@@rockaddict3744 the land of rape and honey is BY FAR their greatest album. it's when they transitioned from an electronic project to one that uses guitars. arguably the earliest industrial metal album. before then they had some EBM, industrial, goth rock, synthpop records. honestly you have to explore ministry. they have a very unique and vast discography.
😂👌🏻. One of Charles Manson's most well known quotes. He might’ve been a fuckin nutter but he was a deep fuckin nutter. Imagine having mind control over that many people. Must've been something about him that drew them in....I just don't see it🤷🏻♀️. Neurotic, narcissistic, manipulative etc but drew them like flies to honey.
That album still sounds like the biggest fuck you Al Jourgensen sent to the music business and all the silly expectations people were having after Psalm 69's huge commercial success
Heaviest ministry album
..aaannd bestest

I love this album more and more with every listen
Yeah yeah ya
This is such an unappreciated track from what I consider a very underappreciated album.
This album was my intro to Ministry and still my favorite. 🤘
Favourite riff on the album for sure

Absolutely gorgeous intro.

Barker is one of my favorite bassists
Favorite ministry album
I'm new here and I really like this album so far... Can you maybe suggest other albums by them?

Heaviest opening riff....
The drums on this are SO GOOD! Also, the vicious lyrics are pretty catchy.
You probably lick more ass than anyone
I guess you like the taste of shit on your tongue.
Love it😂.
Ministry is the first band I've seen that has 100% better versions of their songs when performed live.
Nine inch nails are like that too. I've seen NIN live, twice, and the songs sounded much better live than off the studio albums
I fucking love this album
ministry is so smooth and melodic. DO LOVE IT
One of Ministry's best. Didn't know they surfed.
That was for the scholars.

Love the anger throughout this album. 2020 Man. Thanks Al.
Still rocks like it did in the 90s

Anybody know maybe tuning of guitars in the song, I can’t recognise it’s kind of low to the bottom ?!😎👊🏻🤘🏻
Little late but drop D mate.
Sounds like standard tuning. EADGBE Low to High
@@carnage5803it sounds like crop c from the intro riff
I never had a life
This reminds of Plankton for some reason. I feel like he would listen to this after realizing how much of failure he is.
this is the album 🅱🅾🅾
% no!!!
I think we need to get some guys and some guns and let's go get rid of bad bands like shinedown, breaking Benjamin, and sum 41.
That sounds like something a commie would say
Do those bands even exist anymore
Those bands were big 15 years ago
