@@grandmapeaches7597The group I’m a member of allows guys and girls of all ages. We are the Irish Military Reenactment Group, and we portray different periods of military history. We don’t do it collectively, but most of us generally dress in WW2 uniforms. There are plenty of other groups in Ireland, though their members are generally middle-aged. Unfortunately I can’t help with regards to England, but do keep asking around. I’m sure you’ll find someone who can help you. Reenact on my dude!

Very nice! I was in the Army 1985 -1990. I remember cold MRE's and riding in the back of a deuce for hours. I used my helmet as a pillow, I still have it. You do a great job with your re enacting and represent a W.W.II soldier well. Thanks for taking us along.

My grandfather was in the US 5th Army infantry under general Mark Clark in WW2 1941-44 . I have his CIB .Thank you for keeping the history alive for the sacrifice they paid. And for History Of soldiers and service of all country’s!!!

You should get a go pro so you can record from your head or chest to be able to use both hands to make your re-enactments 100% real and able to do it free handed and not have to worry about the camera

In Virginia (USA) I don't think we had one day over 101 (Eastern VA ..Historic Williamsburg and Jamestown, VA where I reside)...and our summers are known as brutal for re-enactors...mostly American Rev War and Civil War). You are very smart to recognize the over-exertion / heat exhaustion symptoms. Good for you Nick.
I bet all soldiers in WW2 felt like that after their first day only that it never got better. Those reenactments seem like a lot of fun and also teach a lot about being a soldier in general. Back then all Men probably just wanted to cut the day short like you did xD
Nice video, awesome it was on an airfield that was part of ww2. We have a few reenactment shows in the UK, War and Peace Revival is the biggest one with lots of set scenes like trenches and dugouts, covers wars from ww1 up to Afghanistan.
No. They normally just make a bang and make some smoke. Although for that stuff you can sign up for WW2 airsoft games. Edit: I dont re-enact but i know that fact.
You should get a go pro or something to put on one of your helmets so it wouldn't be so uncomfortable for you to hold you gun and camera. But keep the work up i love war history and your the best to watch when im in the mood of ww2.

For D-day reenactments people cut holes in the helmet first aid pouches and put gopros in it

In reenactments I'm not sure. I think they have it already planned or it's most likely improvised
The sargent is a cast member that is whay he gets shot.
Nice video, awesome it was on an airfield that was part of ww2. We have a few reenactment shows in the UK, War and Peace Revival is the biggest one with lots of set scenes like trenches and dugouts, covers wars from ww1 up to Afghanistan.

No. They normally just make a bang and make some smoke. Although for that stuff you can sign up for WW2 airsoft games. Edit: I dont re-enact but i know that fact.
You should get a go pro or something to put on one of your helmets so it wouldn't be so uncomfortable for you to hold you gun and camera. But keep the work up i love war history and your the best to watch when im in the mood of ww2.
