I love how this piece has so many instances of soloists seamlessly "handing off" the melody to the whole orchestra, like at 5:21... It really exemplifies the feeling of the piece being humble and yet reminiscent of a grander era.
This song is probably my favorite out of this soundtrack. It has quite a few emotions in it for me: nostalgia, hopefulness, heroism, and peacefulness just to name a few.
I was happily surprised by the entire OST for Victoria 3, suddenly I hear this theme playing and I immediately needed to find which theme it was. This is very, very beautiful and in my opinion the star of the show. Masterfully done, in creating this piece and an S-Tier OST Håkan :) perfectly fits the game and pleases my ears!
