😍 🤩 one of the best game soundtracks ever made, no doubt! Thx for sharing these neat behind the scenes stuff, they make us appreciate the songs and the people involved even more! Vic3, and many Paradox games for that matter, wouldn't have half the charm they have without your efforts and wonderful pieces 🫡 You have our utmost respect and appreciation, Hakan!
My most beloved soundtracks from my most beloved games. I pay tribute to you, who created these happy moments together. With respect from South Korea!!!!!!!!
I listened to the UEFA Champion's League hymn. My own Glory to the Queen shares some character traits with it - the feel of a hymn or anthem, and the sound of the choir, but I can’t find any melodic similarities. Anyway it’s impossible to not be influenced by other musical works, so you can probably find references to other compositions, too! Thanks for listening!
Before hearing the OST for the game, i was a bit nervous to see if they could reach the greatness of vicky 2. Glad to see that it's the case. Some are calm and athmospheric, some have a bit of punch, it's a nice mix of it. Here i particulary love the mix between the brass, the choir and the violin, i can't really explain why. That make me curious about the composition, why the use of this instrument and not another one, etc. Make me wanna learn about musical theory to understand this piece more : ) In short, another great OST from paradox ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ May this game have multiple DLC with other soundtrack added to it!
@Eldiran1 Thank you very much! I have no theoretical explanation, but I wanted to combine a vocal hymn for the more humble side of the tribute to the Queen with fanfare brass for the triumphant aspect. More than that, for the piece in general, I was inspired by the spirit of the Victorian era - expansion, developments, innovations and belief in the future.

genuinelly very cool
Many thanks!
Wonderful. Some passages and voices remind me the Champion's League hymn, but I am maybe too much nostalgic of my footbalistic childhood.
Thank you! I have to check out that hymn!

@@HakanGlante Yes, I was speaking about the voices and the hymn feeling.
